Good job nice game. :)
The controls where weird, was there a button to jump? And i'm not sure if you're allowed to use the unity platformer engine template or whatever it's called, altough the voice acting was decent.
@Kaboosh Ya the controls were not given much attention. The control legend is in the bottom right of the screen
Good job, even if was struggling to find the right button to jump^^ Like the graphics :)
Nice game and looks great! I had to change the control layout for me personally, so I'm glad you left the Unity options screen in. Well done :)
Nice done only the keymapping isn't the best. And took some time to realize why attack was on Z it's so far away from the other buttons. Well, german keyboard, Z and Y are switched ;)
There was put a lot of effort into the game, and it looks very polished already. The audio and PixelArt graphics have a really good quality
The graphics and animations are just awesome but the movement seems a bit clunky, especially the wall jumps. Voice acting is on point! :D
The voices made me crack a laugh, audio quality is top notch, it could have used some SFX tho. I felt like the movements were not responsive enough. That's maybe due to the acceleration that takes too long. Otherwise, the art is cute and works well and the game is overall great, if a bit confusing. Great job !
PS : I also notice you have the same bug as us with above FullHD resolutions. The Pixel Perfect camera from Unity is bugged at the moment.
Very high quality game. With the exception of control:)
Very nice game. Maybe i did something wrong but i failed to play with gamepad (some buttons were responsive, but not the stick) and that's a shame because there lot of gameplay elements (dash or jumping on walls) there where clearly very good. The voices and dialogs are really smart. Thank you
I wanted to like your game, but I couldn't. Let me explain. I don't want to come off as too critical, because there are aspects of your game that are amazing. I love the art and the voiceovers are really funny. But I feel that your game is very frustrating, and very unrewarding. First off, as a user, having C as the jump button is unnecessarily challenging. If you are left-handed, the game is pretty much impossible to play. I don't really get how the game ties to the theme. The narrative is too confusing for me to get an idea of depth, or story. I also did not know what to do, or what my objective was. This is an easy fix - you can just write something in the comments above. I get that you're trying to be deliberately vague, but it's frustrating. The cute crabs and slimes were the only thing keeping me going. There's a lot of visual and audio features that have the potential to make your game GREAT. But from a user feedback perspective, it doesn't feel right. And if I've learned anything from years of making crappy games, the most important thing about the game is the emotion it fosters. It can be funny, spooky, wacky, exciting, but it has to be fun. It has to be enjoyable both from the input side and the output side. Your game has great output, but there needs to be more of a focus on input - key controls, narrative and general gameplay. That's how you get players engaged, and then you can keep them hooked with what you already have. It's easy to see how much effort was put into this game, and you have a very good starting block for a long-term project. I'm just trying to add some things to take your game to the next level, because it is already excellent in many aspects. Hopefully you understand. Great job on making this in 72 hours and I hope that this was helpful.
I love the voiceovers
