Graphics need some polishing, as well as the game itself, but hey! It's fun and really theme fitting.
Good work, nice entry!

@memel06 Thanks for your feedback. Glad you enjoyed it. My art will be better next time, only figured Inkscape this week.
For programmer its normal art. Your game too slow for me)
@team-on Noted. Thanks for your feedback.
Very funny game, I really enjoyed it.
similar idea to my game lol
@crispypin they're similar, your gameplay is probably better.
I like the controls and bonus points for the fireworks :O I wanted to play moreee though with it getting progressively more hectic, but it was pretty relaxing and I kinda liked that too so I dunno, I'm confused lol. Art served it's purpose (also Inkscape is awesome for vector stuff, if you're not an artist). Now make more games :)
It felt a little slow. The soundtrack was fun, but the truck sound was quite annoying after ten seconds, it bothered me that I couldn't disable the effect sounds.
The particle effects when delivering a box were amazing though, gave me that old school solitaire rush of euforia whenever i delivered a box and won the game.
Were the graphics hand drawn?
Overall not a bad game for sure, but not much that makes it pop except the actual fireworks.
@somuch thanks for your feedback. I'm thinking of reworking the progression so that you have to get x number of boxes done per day with it getting harder each day; but I'm now in a gamejam with some friends so I need to get cracking on that :)
@dries-vuylsteke thanks for the feedback. It is slow. I'm glad you liked the music (I had no idea what I was doing), sorry about the sfx I'll add buttons to turn them off in future games. I learned to 'draw' and node wiggle in inkscape during the week, does that count as hand drawn? The fireworks are great fun, there used to be more when you won, but it was crashing laptops running 1000s of particles at once ha ha
it was really nice, was confused at first but after the first non brown box came i got a handle of the game
@sprovgames Thanks for your feedback, I'm really glad you enjoyed it.
I would say that this is a pretty good game! It could have totally been better and had a bit more depth, but I ebjoyed this game quite a lot! Also i got stuck inside the boxes a lot because I was turning clockwise, hit a box start turning backwards still clockwise and got inside the box.
@dsthedragon started with all brown boxes, the RNG gods were cruel. Thanks for playing.
@alexkarate Thanks for your lovely feedback. The secret is the boxes are filled with scary beasts that are all trying to eat you ;) I have ideas for more depth, starting with only two colours and slowly adding more, to including high priority packages that need to be delivered before anything else.
i like the controls, the game plays really smooth! just i think it's a bit too short, maybe you could have made it into an endless mode, however we had almost the same idea: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/42/warehouse-madness my game is very similiar but in 3d for the jam, good job :D
@andreadbx thanks for your feedback. I didn't give the game duration and experience the love it deserved. It's looking like I'll be making a post compo version in the near future, so watch this space. When I'm back at my desk I'll try out your game.
Nice execution of a good idea! I went for a warehouse management game also :P
@andreadbx just tried your game, sent me into a panic but really good.
@connorthompson Play your game I love it, its like overcooked warehouse edition
Really nice use of the theme. is it my impression or the orange and red color are inverted in the box landing square? (meaby more diverse colors could improve the experience with people that have daltonism or that kind of problem). Good game tho.
Cool game, but I think the graphics and audio are improvable
Slide-in menu, a small but nice touch, likewise the control-scheme hint as part of the environment. Fireworks, nice, more workplaces should have them :-P (Particle-effect or animation?)
I thought I had a strategy (touch forwards/backwards a few times until the forward speed is right, then steer left/right only), but then I got stuck in the wall. So I had to restart. (I even got stuck on another box in the loading area briefly.) Once I compensated for that, the game got easy. (Then I found out there is no real backwards, it's 'just' a break, and the backwards motion is because someone apearantly decided to wax the factory-floor, so when you break hard enough...)
It does feel fun to control though, despite --or perhaps even because of-- the slipperyness.
I sort-of like that you can't drop boxes if they're not in the right place, but given how easy the rest of the game is, it feels like this fork-lift has training wheels! In fact, this could be a fun game to show to young kids.
It doesn't leave much space for making _choices_ though, it doesn't really matter if I pick up the brown or the red box, since I'll make it anyway, and I have to do the other once even so.
It's very short, but as I'm rating, I should thank you :-) At the very least it doesn't overstay its welcome! (Which might be a problem with my own game...)
Ah, one last thing, the zip doesn't have a top folder, so when you unpack it, the files go everywhere (also called a 'zip-bomb').
@soyertek Thanks for your feedback, I'm drawing up a list of changes for a post jam version that includes using both shape and colour to make the boxes easier to tell apart.
@nehvis Thanks for your feedback, this was my first game using Inkscape for art and Bosca Ceoil for the music; so I have a lot to learn. Hopefully my art and music will be better in the future.
@remco Thanks for your feedback. The fireworks are a particle effect. I took the KISS approach and wanted to be able to deliver a complete 'game' by the end of the 48, so the game as a whole suffered. I was conscious that my previous jam with some friends ran for a month and I only managed to make a 1 level platformer.
I went for simple shapes and colours (I believe the term is programmer art) so I take your point about the young kid aspect. I've been trying to create a lighthearted style (like Butterscotch Shenanigans) but went too far.
The zip was from the engines compiler, sorry about that; I'll wrap it in another folder in future. But I must admit to liking the term zip-bomb; on my first reading it came across as crude and caused a small chuckle.
I'll take your suggestions on-board for the post jam version. Watch this space.
Good work, loved the particle effects. Music and graphics could obviously be improved, but the main goal is to get something finished.
@furtive-pygmy Thanks for your feedback. Working on a game for a month long jam with some friends and my 'art' is getting a little better (I think). I have a long ways to go with the audio. Love your username by the way.
this game need something more for fun
Nice one! Congrats!
@dimesto52 You are correct. I hope to rework the game soon. Thanks for your feedback.
@danny-sun Thanks very much.
Fun game, controls work great, quite short though!
@runner-alien Thanks for your feedback. The first build I did during LD was impossible to win, so I tweaked the RNG and now it's far too easy. I have some plans to rework it.
Great game! Very cool and interesting! :D
Nice game, I hope to see more updates and improvments sooner. If you don't bother take a look at our game when we focused on Graphics and visuals and see the results that we got: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/42/spacelab-42
@cristihkj Thanks for your feedback.
