Currently adding 3 more levels then it will be properly done, somehow managed to blast though it this time with few issues

alpagakira 2018-08-12 07:43

It's seems to be cool

blueblu 2018-08-12 15:37

Woah! Is this game online or is the AI just super realistic?

rustycrow 2018-08-13 14:03

WE DID IT Noir :frog: :gun: This game is probably the most visualy impressiv game i have seen so far, and the music. As a Gamer when presented with a game i will always try to break the game, and i broke yours in about 1 min :frog:. YOU see when you jump you can see the Exit lights :frog:LUL.png but out of respect for you i choose not to do it, and completed your game. it was cool. I did miss a Theme however :japanese_goblin:. For a game made in 72 hours this is very cool .I give this game 28  s WP man

Good job finishing the game ! I would suggest you to put an engine sound effect or something on enemies to hear them roam around. Also light the reactor only when moving. And one more mechanic like a gun or a dash or something would be welcome !

drnoir 2018-08-14 06:24

Yes I thought I would do that but other things took over but yes will add that in I think, adding enemies that fire / gun would be cool too but got caught up in finishing off the levels other stuff

chocolat-endive 2018-08-14 14:04

@drnoir The ennemies are not really interesting for the moment, I think what your are discussing with @thomas-olsson could add some gameplay value. The design of the different mazes are cool and works very well! Good job!

I like the robot models and the reflections, it looks awesome in 4k! For the control, it would be so much better if the camera would turn and follow from up and behind, lerping to a point behind the model or something. I don't know how many times I heard "pizza machine" on the second level, maybe don't restart the music on every start :smirk:

It's a cool game!

Really nice at finishing this 3D game, but I think it need more challenge, only took me 5 minutes to finish 3 level. The gameplay is pretty simple so I'll just give a comments about the graphics. It really impressive seeing you create a very nice model and enviroment like this, but the 2nd and 3rd level is pretty annoy me. The water environment at 2nd level is quit disturb, the wall so reflect with no texture on it even make me feel dizzy. 3rd level is better at texturing but the light source is too strong, giving so much shadow that block 100% vision, I dont know if it's your intention but It's not comfortable at all. So far the bot AI is not so hard to avoid, maybe some more feature will make the game so good. I really like playing a 3D maze exploring. Hope to play your full version game someday

awix 2018-08-15 08:25

A good game idea, the music should be improved. The graphics are good. Try our game too, maybe you'll like it)

drnoir 2018-08-15 10:22

@bitofgold Pizza Machine hahaah it's a sample from Short Circuit in fact I think of a character going "it's a machine" thanks for feedback :) I didn't really have time to think of things like that doing the dev process as it's such as quick working cycle but sometimes the small things can count, the robot models were an asset pack I bought as I was working on my own on this one and lack decent 3D Modelling skills to do it justice.

drnoir 2018-08-15 10:24

@knmec Cheers for feedback, I did try and make the Mazes as challenging as possible but didn't have a great deal of time to build them, however I will probably rework them given more time, add more detail make them less bland as it were, make them look more authentically 'robot' too. I did tweak the visuals a lot but also didn't want to get lost doing it so that I ran out of dev time

rexpeppers 2018-08-15 21:16

Interesting game, I like mazes. Maybe more enemy types would increase the challenge?

michael-feldman 2018-08-15 22:10

Very nice. Developing AI in such a short time is no joke. Combine that with the physics and rendering that go into completing a 3d game. It all works very well together. it's tight. As long as you don't jump @rustycrow

@rexpeppers Yo dog I heard you like mazes. Check out Firewood Manor.

drnoir 2018-08-16 13:46

Thanks for the comments everyone. Don't forget to rate! Not at the twenty point quite yet.

Some development news - I managed to port this across for my android phone last night so further devlopment will include refining and perfecting it then hopefully realeasing it as an app on playstore.
