On the positive side game works without a glitch and audio isn't too annoying.
On the other side nothing happens when you get to the flag and you can't die in space.

It's like if Pokemon was Super Mario but also a shmup. So pretty much the ultimate manifestation of this theme, I love it. I got into a position where I instantly got battle'd 3 times, not sure if that was a bug or I just didn't notice all the people around. Even if incomplete, I think this is a pretty good entry
This is an interesting idea for the mashup. It mostly seems to lack some polish to make it a finished game (such as letting the player die in the shooter part or a win condition). It certainly sounds like you ran into issues getting everything you wanted into the game, so try to limit the scope to something more manageable in the future if you participate again. I very much enjoyed the random hit noises the enemies maded.
Being unable to die in the shoot-em-up phase was actually intended (and I had hoped it wouldn't be noticed), because I figured that it would get frustrating if battles happened too frequently (which they don't in the final version, unfortunately)
The transition screens are my favorite in here, there was definitely a serious job done. Dare I say that you may have probably spent too much time on them? Anyway, good job, and thank you for your entry!
Good job! There isn't too much content, but what content exists is pretty well polished. I liked the concept as well, and would be interested to see what you could do to take this further! I also loved the transition scenes, and found the jumping physics and space combat to be fluid and fun. Nice work!
What's there is pretty good, I just think minigame compilations are a bit too much work for LD. I just had a couple of minor problems with the platforming stage 1. Is it even possible to jump on the bad guys or do you just have to avoid them? The Mario style to the platforming made me want to jump on them, but no matter how much I tried, I just died every time 2. One time when I went back to the platformer after a space battle I spawned in a bad guy and died immediately 3. The way the camera moves when I turn around is **really** disorienting - whenever I had to move left to try and not fall down a gap or avoid an enemy I almost always fell down or hit the enemy due to how the camera moved.
All that being said, I think it's a great start and I wish you'd had more time to work on your game (just like I wish I'd had more time to work on mine )
