The moving and shooting part seems very fluid. Audio is also fine. Didn't really get to the other parts. The tutorial is VERY long winded, and feels impossible to memorize before getting to the actual game. Shame, the game could have been fun, if it was taught in a more thought out way during the start of gameplay.
Looks and feels great. It is a bit overcomplicated in the beginig though.
This mash up is a little bit confusing because you can play the shooter without take care of your crew. I couldn t really see the effect of it. The shooting part need more differences in enemy pattern to be really fun. I had a bug with tutorial, it loop and i couldnt leave it. But I can see that lot of work was done. Good job!

A very good game! I really loved the atmosphere that was created by the music and graphics. however the tutorial was a bit too long for my taste. Also the station mechanic was somewhat confusing: when is it captured, when can I enter it? I managed to left my engineers behind and when I tried to return to the station I was unable to. Other than that a very well executed entry!
Nice work. The programming is so good, the design too, the art is a few improve. if you want you may play our game https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/41/warren-of-love

The visuals and the actual moving/shooting mechanics feel very polished and nice. But getting into the game felt a bit cumbersome. Here is my not getting it journey:
1. start reading the tutorial
2. ignore tutorial and start playing
3. don't get the theme
4. go back to read the damn thing
5. Don't really notice a difference when reassigning the crew
6. replay the game and completely ignore the crew management again
7. enjoy circle-strafe simulator 2018
Overall, your game has a lot of very polished parts and some weird decisions that weigh it down unnecessarily, which are probably owed to fitting the theme in in some way, which is perfectly understandable, "the theme always sucks", as they say. It would have been massively beneficial, if you could have integrated the tutorial into the game somehow.
A nice game, feels very smooth indeed! I like the music.
But I couldn't figure out how to enter space stations. Pressing E did nothing. Only once I saw [E] image on a space station, but it disappered when I got closer.
The tutorial wasn't as bad as Waveston said, but imho teaching players as the game progressed is more convenient.
The game's graphics and audio are pretty good.
The core game-play's pretty decent, although the blue enemy spawn rate is a bit ridiculous-there was a point where I've killed enough of them for them to stop spawning forever, then I went ahead and captured every single base and called it a day.
There's also a problem in the tutorial page where it's nigh-impossible to leave and the fact that pressing Esc/Pause while you're docked at a station glitches the game up.
But considering this was made in 3 days, it's a rather good entry.

A fun game, brought back some childhood memories. The number of enemies could have been a bit lower in my opinion, but it is fine regardless. Would really love to see more weapons and tools to play with and beat enemy ships in other ways.

Excellent, just excellent :)
The laser sound can be a bit annoying after continuous shooting and I would prefer that the shield is a bar, like health bar, on the side rather than being a big hit box but it still works great :)
Mine is not nearly as great but if you can check it out and rate it :) https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/41/sam
