I didn't really understand where this game wanted me to go. I managed to get out by attacking the door, but what's the point of the initial escape game ? What about the 'light is the key', about some of the codes ?
When I first received the pop up asking me whether I wanted to sleep, look for food, I thought I would continue the escape game after that, but the game keeps waiting and repoping the window, is this intentional ?

Nice entry! The riddles where not easy, it takes some time to understand how to manage with the room. I think the music is not the best fitted for the game, and also noticed a strange message popping out when pressing "I" on keyboard (screenshot attached) A nice overall game for a jam. Thanks for your work! asddd.png
Are you THE RIDDLER from Batman haha. Seriously difficult riddles :id:
@Jakub Panek please also check out my game. It is a combination of Flappy Bird & Tetris.
@hyorvenn Fixed! Now, you have to finish escape game for those windows to pop-up.
@memel06 Woah! Looks like you found some undeleted debug key. Fixed in the new version.
Thank you for playing.
I was kind of lost after finding the clues in the end. Well executed as a room escape game and probably fun to make too, the environment wass well modeled and the gameplay was sleek. I had trouble finding the life simulator part though.

I'm stuck finding the combination for the second chest. Tried everything but nothing seems to work. And I don't really get the point of those windows popping at me every two seconds.
Overall it's not a bad game, but I think the survival side of it could be thrown away as it's here for the only purpose of fulfilling the theme and is not really adding anything to the game. Also, I'd like to have some more visual/audio feedback, currently it's kind of like looking at a still image that I can rotate.
Don't get me wrong, I had fun playing your game, and I may get back to it and try to find that damn combination. But I think some more polishing would have been great!
I like the style of this game but the window-based interactions don't do the escape room genre justice. That's probably a matter of polishing if you had more time. The puzzles were nice though. As a fellow programmer, I really appreciated them.
The only thing I didn't understand was the second part of the game. I felt like my decisions weren't doing anything and I quit after three days of sleeping, reading and searching the room in vain. What was I supposed to do/what is supposed to happen?
@radioactiverambo Thank you. I appreciate your feedback. Yeah, second part of the game is not quite what was planned. The only way you can escape is to attack the door when you have the chance.
The music is nice, but why didn't you use right mouse button to rotate, instead of the middle mouse button? Was the right mouse button used for something else?
@igorimagine It could have been right mouse button. I started out with middle mouse button because my 3D modelling software uses it for rotation. Until now it never occurred to me that its not the best choice. No, right button is not used for anything. Thanks for playing!

Hm... Nice, little puzzle game with very challenging puzzles. I don't really see the connection between the two themes, the survival aspect didn't really work for me, or I just didn't know what to do with it. The third person view is odd in an escape room to my mind, an fps controller might have worked better, or maybe hiding what's behind the cage door, until we find the keys... Some story would have been nice too, these escape rooms always have them.
Nice game even if the second part is a bit hard too understand.
I just finished the game. The escape part was nice, maybe a little repetitive but the riddle where cool. The music was excellent, congrats! For the "survival" part, I managed to escape by attacking the door, but I didn't really felt the need to eat or survive, I just read and attacked when I could. I read that that part was not what was planned so yeah. But for a compo, it's still pretty nice I think. Also, In the description you wrote that the game is a Escape/Life-Sim, but I didn't really felt the Life-Sim part. So overall it's a cool game, with improvements to do of course, but a really nice game anyway, and the idea of Escape/Survival is nice (But maybe not incompatible?).
