You can crouch jump out of the window.

Cool concept, nice execution. I like this game it's pretty funny. The only thing not so great about it is too loud music with no adjustable volume and a fact that after about 3 minutes of gameplay spawn rate of "0% cool dudes" is so ridiculously high that it's impossible to kill them all with the rate of fire that the weapon has.

Reminds me of the old Flash sniper games. The handling was a little wonky and the perspective switch from scoped and free view was too much for me to switch back and forth between them.

Ahhh I missed a game like this! I hope I'm not thrown in jail for saying that is somewhat "relaxing" because of it's simplicity. Very well done!

I was surprised how big the download was. Neat game.. the aiming is really wobbly though... or maybe it's my hand..haha

@dragonfyzex That's a feature.

@xeloglaz Thanks for the compliments! You raise some completely valid criticisms. An options menu absolutely should have been added and I'm kicking myself for not adding one. The growth is exponential so I will agree it does get out of hand faster than it maybe should.

@geraldfingburke That's a large part of where the idea came from. Thinking back, a cross-hair in the un-zoomed state would have probably helped with this.

@phillserrazina Glad you had fun.

@abilean Our artist was very busy during the jam and some unused assets probably found their way onto to game file. As for aiming, the wobbliness may be the mouse sensitivity (in game, not the mouse sensitivity you have set on your computer) or the moving from not-aiming to aiming states. There isn't any aim-assist and minimal added smoothing when zoomed, but the sensitivity is decreased when aiming to make it less jerky. Practicing smoother mouse movement probably wouldn't hurt, but then again neither would an options menu with an option to add more smoothing.

nice game no complaints only with the graphics but it was great!

Good stuff. Shooting the 0% cool guys from the top of the building is enjoyable, although zooming in feels a bit abrupt and acquiring the target requires practice. The option to jump out of the building and either go exploring or switch to close combat is even more fun.

The models are great, the city is beautiful. Good job.

Came to check out your game after you let me know my game was down, but apparently now your game is down too? Hopefully I'll get a chance to try it out during the rating period still!

azdraws 2017-12-09 17:10

Hey, looks like your game is down? Hopefully it'll be back soon!

ostoru 2017-12-14 10:57

@azdraws the game is re uploaded to mega now, sorry for the delay.

This game is pretty solid mechanically, and the theme is a nice twist to what would otherwise be a straightforward shooter. I particularly appreciated the reddish pots at the back of the plaza that could be mistaken for other targets, making threat assessment trickier. I did have issues with the VIP walking out of line of sight, though, and though the close combat option remedies that, the game doesn't seem designed for that (lag skyrockets once I start killing enemies close up). I might recommend moving the firing position a little closer too, or adding multiple levels of zoom, since straining your eyes to pick out targets isn't much fun. All in all, a solid entry though. Good work!
