Lovely lowpoly zombi-like game!
Well done. All it needs is a score meter to make it possible to compete with friends to see who can do better.
Lovely low polygon style. At first I thought the gunplay needed some more juiciness but after losing a round I think the game might be a bit too stressful if you have small explosion sounds going off every now and then! :P
Quite fun, the second song was really cool and felt it worked a lot better than the first for the 'spawning to the music' aspect, nice job though. Always been a fan of music synced :D
Thank you all for the comments!
@netherlab it needs for sure :)
@james-studd glad you liked it. Yeah initially I was getting more frequency changes on the notes and the first song was really hard. Decided to have larger ranges to make it fair for slow songs and harder for faster ones. But definitly some songs work better then others. Thank you for playing.
Classic little hoard game! Very, very, addictive! There was a weird soft low humming sound in the background though, might have been just my PC, the actual music on the other hand is really good! I didn't score you on audio though, since it is just copyright free music, which isn't a problem at all but I only rate original audio.
I could not reach the 5th wave. Very difficult. The music instigates adrenaline. Congratulations.
I love the idea of a rhythm based shooter, but it felt like the music was a bit disconnected from the gameplay later on when there were so many enemies. There's some interesting places you could go with this idea (such as tying player motion and shooting with the music), although it's hard to explore all of that in one weekend. Good job overall though.
I like how the music syncs up with the spawning of the enemies! I was expecting brutal music, because you are killing so many people, but I am met with some calming music. Good job! Also, I thought the bottom left corner was a great place to camp. Apparently not, because I glitched through the wall!
Looks and feels good. Nice idea. Interesting use of the theme.
A cool idea with music frequency! Reminds me a little bit about BeatHezard where you was able to tweak a gameplay with your own playlist.
A nice solid game! Liked the nice particle effects and obviously the fancy music.
Nice little game you got right there, the music was really nice, The idea of controlling the spawning using the music was brilliant. Loved it, congrats.
I had a lot of fun with this one! The speed of enemies and size of the room worked together quite well for a fast paced game.
Sincerely, one of my favorite game from this ludum ! The music work just really well for this kind of game, and the gameplay + graphism + music just work good all within !
The graphism are really simple, but the particle effect, the feedback or the anticipation (the light who get on before an ennemy spawn) and simply the convergence of ennemy towards make it clear and kinda mesmering, when with the good music ! I really hope we can jump to the music we want when we finish one, but it was not that hard to defeat (I never last long for the final, but this music work so greatly I didn't even rage about it !)
The whole gameplay is done in a good way ! Just some times, I feel my shots was under my cursor (persepectif problem ?) But the game have his mood and he push the player to move, dodge, aim in a way that stay interesting, pushing to think where to place due to obstacles and the danger of every spawn point.
A simple game, but a good one !
