Groovy though ui seemd to scale wrong
cool game bro
Nice game
Drew some cards, attacked, saved the world! Not perfectly sure how the rules went, but that didn't slow me down. UI scaling was a bit off, it was still playable though.
@samuli and @thomas-higgins , what happened to UI? Can you send me some screenshot?
Did you try to play in another resolution?
Nice one
There's something wrong in the UI.
Is it supposed to be some description on the card? The words are too small I cannot tell anything on it.
It's a good try to make a new card game during this short timespan though.
@tmpxyz , I still think it works right.
No, it's not supposed to be something on the card except the number.
When I click "attack" I always win and the game ends, even though I have no cards on the table.
Hmm, I can't say I understood the rules of the game, even sfter reading your explanation post. But the setting sounds really cool. Maybe try to make a step by step explanation how to play the game with screenshots. That might help.
this game is really complicated to understand
The story seems interesting. When a game is linked to mystical consequences, their's potential for an interesting story. But the game itself is incomprehensible. The UI is indeed small and hard to read. I didn't know what to do after drawing a card, and when I pressed pass I didn't notice anything happening. You have this nice 3D scene, but that serves only as a backdrop, which is a shame.
It seems like you thought mostly about implementing the rules and mechanics of the game, but the way those rules and mechanics are presented to the player is vital.
I can't understand how to play this game. Is a higher number card more powerful? What does attack mean and when am I supposed to attack? How do I stop the opponent's attack?
Also, choosing 32 cards at the beginning of the game was tedious. It would be better if they were chosen for you.
Really like the setting of the game. After spending some time selecting the cards, went to the game, drew 1 card, pressed attack and saved the world! Fastest world saving ever xD As I was writing this I found your post about the rules and problems of the game, so I don't need to talk about it. The UI was fine to me. If you can try to improve the card selection method (don't know how, sorry).
