Wow, the cutscenes in this game are great, and the platforming can get a little tricky at times. I think my only gripe is the art is a little inconsistent, but overall a great game!

This is a really great entry! I loved the fact you built up menus, story and the slow but steady introduction of game elements was great. Overall a really good game.
The link for the web version is unfortunately broken
Amazing game, beautiful pixel-art, interesting cutscenes and nice music. The game seems to be very polished and fun. Great Work!
Great game! loved the graphics and the story is nice as well. Just would sugest to put some checkpoins, later stages can become a little frustrating going all the way back, since it is one hit kill. Enjoyed a lot though :D
Pros: Controls well, looks good, sounds good. Good atmosphere. Cutscene work was also nice!
Cons: I wish parts of the cutscenes were skippable, some of the bits just go on too long. Recharging takes forever. Not restoring the battery level when you die was a very odd choice (or bug?) and could make the game unwinnable.
Bugs: The ESC menu completely bugged out for me (too-large buttons with no text on, going down off-screen).
Nice to see cutscenes in a jam game. Nice pixel art on the levels and character, the guards look weird though.
I really like the cutscenes, they are a great touch. The music was great and the art and level design was really interesting. It feels like you got a lot in a short space of time. You did a great job implementing the concept behind the game. The only thing I'd change is make the recharging a bit faster, but the slow charger also gives you time to pause and think :) Great job!

@pedro-miranda Thank you for playing our game and writing that feedback. We will try to add more checkpoints to our future games.
@winterslice Thank you for playing our game and thank you also for telling us about that menu bug. We will try to find it and prevent it from happening in our future games. I would also like to thank for writing the cons section because we will use these improvements in our next games.
@vovin Hi! Thank you for playing our game and giving us this feedback. The reason why the guards might look weird is that we ran out of time to upgrade them to look like the rest of the games art.
@gamesplusjames Hello! Thank you very much for playing our game and giving us feedback. It means a lot!
Good first LD Game! Though the resolution changing between sprites wasn't such a great look and the controls could be a little tighter. I would recommend for example allowing the player to control the jump height by holding the button longer as it makes for much nicer platforming. I also had some issues with not being able to see obstacles at the sides of the screen, other than that pretty nice game with an intriguing story. :v:
@retr0verse Thank you for playing and giving us this feedback! We appreciate it a lot! We will take a deeper look in changing sprite resolutions in our future games.
i liked :)... realy surprised me the level designer
Nice story you've got there.
At first I was impressed with the introduction. It is interessting and easy to understand.
The later events were a little bit slow, with no option to skip the sentences. The gameplay is okay, and seems to work well. The enemies mechanic are nice.
The overall idea is that you have a nice game here, maybe less dynamic that it sould be, but well put together and functional.
Great work!
@mr-houdini, @fx-soares Thank you very much for playing and leaving feedback! It means a lot and helps us make even better games in the future.
For me, the graphics and audio were ok, but cutscenes should be skippable. Then, the jumping felt quite clunky and recharching your battery is needlessly slow. It isn't like in Alien Isolation for example where it's slow to add tension because the alien could still kill you. Here, you just stand there waiting and nothing can hurt you. It's just boring. Also, when you die, you might as well restart with full health because if you press "restart" in the pause menu, you restart with your battery full anyway with no consiquences ! Finally, make something happen when the battery reaches 0; a "game over" text for example - just anything ! Don't leave the player in the dark with no clue on what to do. In the game right now, running out of battery has no gameplay impact because you can just press "restart" and have 100% energy.
Other than that, good game.
@batheo3000 Thanks for your constructive feedback. We'll look deeper into these features in our future projects.
Very nice story! I included it in my Ludum Dare 39 compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look :) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2_RV8hzvGH4
