I like your idea pretty good. the graphical theme is amazing. the only downside i found was a bit of wonky controlls but didnt matter quite hard.

As a platformer, it handles pretty well, and the graphics look great. The level design is generally pretty good, but I got stuck indefinitely once between two lava pools. Also, it could use some more animation. I may be wrong, but it also seems that it does not have audio either. But overall, it is enjoyable to play. =D
Good game. Simple and fun. Could've benefitted from sound effects :) But nonetheless, fun to play and quite cool. The controls are fluid and very responsive.

The jump on the far right was super annoying. Other than that it was just mapping the route and then execution. The controls were a bit floaty and too aggressive but nothing you couldn't get used to even with those few tricky jumps. I think at least one of those energy pellets was a straight up trap. You'd lose more energy going to get it than what you'd gain from it.
The checkpoint system was more annoying than useful. Well maybe a bit useful when falling into lava but not really when running out of juice. Cause you lose the same amount over the same distance. And adding a way to restart would be a nice addition also. I don't think anyone will beat it on their first go. They'll probably just end up in a loop where respawning on last checkpoint and failing again keep happening.

I liked that checkpoint system but i think it could have been better because i got stuck on the same check point simply because i had to little energy to get anywhere. The game by itself was fun. To bad no sounds or music. Well done

Not a bad idea but there was no audio and I got stuck between 3 of those yellow flying things. Also when you run out of power it would be cool to see some sort of transition back to your previous checkpoint and not just instantly appear there. But otherwise not bad.
Nice idea, simple but effective. I don't have that much to say, maybe the jump wasn't polished enough, but since it is a game jam... good job!

cute little game, i enjoyed playing it! great idea
Interesting concept. I love the way the yellow fairy things or whatever swarm around you. Reminds me of pic - man. The color palette is nice and the graphics are clean. Nice job.

The graphics serve the game adequately, though I feel they could use a little more polish and animation. The movement is a little too loose for the jumps the game presents, and the checkpoints saving the energy bar as well can easily lock you into a lost run (possibly this could be remedied by a reset button so you could attempt to get the best time before grabbing a fairy or just have the bar refill upon loss and make the fairies farther apart).
Overall, it's a nice game with some moderate problems.
