FYI game doesn't work in Safari on OS X (compo version). Playing in Chrome now, will report back soon...

I seem to have gotten stuck. I created a combustion factory, started drilling, the resource got depleted, and I couldn't get back into movement mode.

The post-compo version is different enough that I wanted to avoid it for judging purposes, so I'd love it if you could track down and fix this issue. It's within the spirit of the rules.

In the compo version you should be able to go back and forth between drill mode and drive mode with the up/down or w/s keys. If not, that's definitely a bug, but I haven't seen that happen.

The controls said to use up/down to load and unload, but i didn't know that was only when standing on a building. Holding down the up/down button also spam toggles between the drill/movement mode instead of only switching once. The movement was also a bit laggy on chrome. Other than that, this is a really nice game. I like the amount of buildings you are able to build and you can actually see the resources depleting when you mine them.

Played only the compo version. I like the mining/buiding idea. I was a bit confused when drilling because I expected the robot to actually drill down. The small world theme is well addressed. It took me some time to get used to the controls.

Tried the compo version. Have been stuck on my first try by creating a building in drill mode, as the inputs are the same for switching the robot modes and interacting with the building. Always building in move mode allows to continue. It's interesting to see the ressources decreasing, and I would love to see the world itself reducing its size by drilling. I found the ressources accumulation and general rhythm of the game too long, and didn't have the patience to go trough every building requirements. I'm sure that by accelerating drastically the game rhythm (robot speed, drilling time, productions times...), it could be pretty fun. Hope you'll continue !
