The game's physics are nice it's nice to go in orbit very far and then land on another planet far away. I kind of got stuck quite early I believe, I got the third item or the iron (bucket?) at the eastern part of the map and was stuck there.

- Enjoyed the inventory mechanic, it made the planet (?) exploration more satisfying. - Playing on OS X with a late 2013 Macbook Pro I felt like I was losing frames, which made the jumps jittery. I've seen a few other Java games this LD that didn't have this issue, so it's possibly fixable (or smoothable). - I liked the overworld map on the lower right. I got lost in the big sun(?) and was able to navigate my way out with it.

The core mechanic is awesome, and really satisfying, but the controls are a bit buggy. Moving left/counter-clockwise caused some weird movement issues, including getting permanently stuck in place if I ever tried to jump while holding the A key. It's a bit too difficult to escape the 3 planets at the far right side of the map (I thought it was impossible for a while), and it isn't entirely clear what the goal is - until I unpacked the jar and looked into the game files (while looking for the source code), I didn't realize the things I was collecting were rocket parts, or that I was supposed to travel back to that one piece on the center planet that I couldn't pick up. That could be fixed with more readable sprites, or better explanation, or both.

P.S. If you change the `dl=0` in your download link to `dl=1`, it will download straight away instead of taking you to a web page.

This was a nice simple game.

Exploring the planets was fun thanks to the physics and jumping between planets and thank god for that map in the right corner. Without that getting lost would be very nice. Other than that the game could use more polish like sound, better graphics but the biggest thing missing for me was a bit of challenge. Maybe some kind of obstacle or enemy to overcome but I guess you ran out of time and the most important thing is that the core mechanic is fun which it was.

Great work!

Nice start of a potentially fun physics game. Reminded me of Super Mario Galaxy. Was unsure of the objective, as I was able to collect all four piece of whatever it was I was collecting, but then was unable to launch back from the far right planets. I am thinking the planet at the top middle of the mini map is probably where I needed to go. Would have like some kind of sound effects or music, and the worlds could have used some variety, whether its different colors or some kind of patterns. Physics were pretty good, occasionally my character would not approach the other planet I was jumping to properly, and it didn't feel like a smooth reentry (if that makes sense). I would have expected my momentum to take me around the planet, but it sometimes abruptly changed course.

Would like to see a polished version of this game with the planets spread out and the screen size increased. Having enemies to fight would add a challenge to the game, too.

Edit: I went ahead and listened to the .wav files you had in the resources folder. The music was simple and had a classical feel to it. Would recommend layering a few instruments to give the song more depth. The jump sound was great! Wish it made it in the game!
