Very nice game! I also considered making a "space-ship-as-a-room" themed game, but decided against it, because I figured it would take too much time. It is impressive how many features you managed to implement in only 48 hours!
I am clearly no space ace; in my 5 tries, I never once managed to survive space combat against more than a single opponent. But the different systems seem to tie well into each other (although a terrible pilot like me would have liked some kind of regenerating force shield upgrade as well).
A few suggestions for UI-improvements, should you decide to make a post-LD version:
* Highlight in the upgrade menus how many of the necessary items you already possess.
* Visual and/or audible feedback when the laser beams hit their target in combat mode.
* I had a hard time controlling the pilot inside the ship, he has a very wide "turning radius".
* Display fuel costs for travel somewhere. It was hard to predict how much fuel was needed a few "moves" ahead.
I love the concept you've gone with here! I think, however, that speeding everything up from combat to your character move would've gone a long way to making the gameplay more satisfying.
Very cool game. It has everything you need - ship management, action and trade. Walking through the ship's cool, but a bit inconvenient. Battle bit inhibited. By the way, to fly backwards and shoot very efficiently.
P.S. Got to Magnia 1 for the team and the game told me that I survived, and dumped them. )

I think this is a really cool and surprisingly deep game. It's obvious that it's a lot of work already, but the first thing it would have needed is probably more feedback especially for fights. And it seems the fights are very hard unless you find a trick that works pretty much every time, which makes them boring. It would also be nice to know how much fuel a certain travel will cost etc. Nice work!
Cant unzip :(
tried downloading a bunch of times and used windows and winrar to extract. All failed :(
Cant unzip too :(

Cool game. Space battles are kinda wonky, though, especially when my ship disappears off the visible area :D
If anyone's unable to unzip the file with the Windows built in extractor, try a different program. 7-zip worked for me, while the Windows default gave an error.

Good game, I had fun with it. Give some feedback or add dialog boxes to guide or help the player, so that he can figure out what to do. Interesting game overall!

Love the low ploy style of art and the whole concept of the game great job :D
An interesting play on the concept. I'm not a huge fan of tank controls, but I like the direction you took the game in.
Good concept !!!

rotating is quite awkward, would be great if there was a visual indication when you hit a spaceship in those spaceship fights and I managed to glitch above the airship :D good idea though.
Interesting game! I included it in my compilation video series of the Ludum Dare 37 games, if you’d like to take a look. :) https://youtu.be/dPGA6ze9lwQ
