Huh, this idea is mindbreaking! It's almost 4:30 AM and i'm programming while I could sleep. You are a bad guy!

Wow my favorite part was getting stuck in the computer I was having so much fun! Wowzers, it actually reminded me of this time where i was over in henderman pike state rally speedway, with my dad, and we were watching horse racing on a rainy day and my dad would always say "Dont get your hair wet or you'll catch a cold", I never did catch a cold and I always would thank my father for that one. Our favorite thing to do was to get fruit together and on sundays we would always go, after church, to the old state market tree company to pickup the local bargain fruits and produce. Sorry i went on a tangent hehe

Hi! This looks interesting but I can't see what my commands are when I'm typing, I'm on mac using safari (well I can see the commands on the console, but when I use the command righting tool I can't see it), any way looks really good!

you can embed itch games to ludumdare easily. here's how : http://blog.itch.io/post/142973948229/introducing-game-embeds

The art is ok , and the drone-programming idea is pretty neat.
Any plans for a extended gameplay release?)

Whoa, this idea is really original and well executed, wasn't expecting to find something like this at all. Good job on getting us programming again after a non stop weekend! ;)

The only thing I missed was command repetition on the console by pressing up (just like the linux terminal/mac console), caught myself trying it several times by force of habit! Hahaha

Congratulations on this!

@Ygogo - Probably not. We wouldn't mind making a larger game based around this concept, but probably won't have the time.

@BubsyPoochies - I know, I wanted to add command repetition the whole time I was working on it (I did the same thing when testing) but there was always something more urgent that needed fixing :(

Really innovative. I like this kind of game where you have to program bots to accomplish tasks. Unfortunately feels a bit immature. I had problems with the shortcuts Ctrl+T and Esc which where caught by my browser (Event.preventDefault())

feanbeast 2016-12-14 23:24

This looks great, but whatever commands I try the drone doesn't seem to move and the log is empty. Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

awesomerex 2016-12-15 00:40

Interesting idea, but it got really tedious to type out the commands.

themightyteam 2016-12-16 21:26

Liked the idea a lot but the learning curve is too high. Probably with some script files added as an example would make the initial steps easier ;). The terminal is also a good point.

onarru 2016-12-17 03:07

@TheMightyTeam - Yeah I think our biggest failure with this one was not tutorializing stuff effectively. It wasn't that we weren't aware that people might not get it right away, it was mostly that the whole thing was on fire until right up until the end so we didn't have time :(
