Nice graphics, it takes some practice to understand the gameplay but it's a good ideia. Great job!
The gameplay mechanic was kind of weird. I think you could add tons of stuff to if you decide to develop it further.
At first confusing, but I must say that after a while it was really fun. I really like the graphic style, simple but it works :D
That was an great idea, got 22 foods, lol, just wish i could see deeper in the ground for the sides, that was really cool
as stated above not quite sure what i was doing, but none the less i was doing something. i just didnt know if i was telling the ants to go do something or telling them what to collect. enjoyed the minimal graphics :)

I like the concept, but i don't know why i really died, i think with more feedback would be nice, but great for a compo, great job, i enjoyed it!
Weired but cool experience!
It would help, if you would provide some explanation of how the game works, so the player doesn't need to guess too much. My first atempt brought me to winter, but with only 12 food. After somewhat realizing what was going on, I managed to collect 118 food on my second try ;)
Some absolute values for food and colony size would be nice, so that you don't need to rely purely on gut feeling.
