useless to say it's buggy and 5 last seconds version.
HA and it has no tutorial so here we go :
ctrl to shoot, shift to throw grenades, space to jump, arrows for moving...
Go to the porals to load them and level up... you can go down through levels but it's funny if you level up before the end no ? nop ? let me know !
Cheers !
Completely understand about running out of time.
These days for Game jams, I aim to get the main game core finished by half the time. leaving the second half to polish and fix bugs.
The gameplay was pretty suprising. It felt really buggy and weird, textures were everywhere, portals were piling up on top of each other, and chaos was everywhere. So, it was pretty fun. For a game jam, especially one that worked you up to the last minute, it's atcually really fun. Well done!
Thank you guys i really appreciate :) also i uploaded a new version on itch.io that has some bugfixes, as the jam allows it; but i left the real deadline file too so you can see it too if you ever want... But the fixed version is way better and looks a bit more like what i expected : it fixes win condition, has some rearrangement for fun and a nice working HUD + some stuff like credits, or music mute.So i recommand you the last one ;) Once again thanks to everyone that throw an eye on it ! Cheers !
Sorry, I can't play this (looks interesting though). "Web" doesn't usually mean just a download link - if it leads to a Windows exe download, label it "Windows".
Pretty buggy, the tutorial text lasted for like 3 seconds, nowhere near enough time for reading it.
Hi guys! Udo, i'm currently uploading a zip on gamejolt so quickplay will be possible with the last java version :) anyway thank you for telling me this, hope this will work.
Mr Quarterflip, sorry, i wanted the start to be epileptic in a way, but you have small instructions with credits on the main menu screen ;) Thank you, making a good tutorial is in the next thing to do list....
Hope you liked it ! Anybody has reached level 20 ? :]
Little bugs.. thats it.. other than everything is good..
Doesn't run on linux, can't vote :(
The enemies shots a lot faster than the player :T
@Technomancer Game Studio : about the ennemies firerate in my entry, it needs to be fixed it's a bit too hard from the start that's right :)
@joekinley : yes sorry the quickplay only works on windows sadly :/ gamejolt makes web play possible with java but it still needs to run a .exe ... Maybe it's possible with an windows emulator on linux ? Let me know if you have an idea ;)
Thanks for playing !
Cheers
I Like the idea...
The game is a pretty hard...
It's bug or game designer intenttion?
@hoyt hoy : thank you ! Yes it's pretty hard, i hate easy games !!! btw i must say hardness comes from bad game balance/design and small unfixed bugs, but it sticks with my intention :)
As long as the end is reachable, i like it hard as f#ck ; i reached lvl 11, but sadly it became too laggy to continue playing ; game over is set at lvl 20, but i couldn't reach it because FPS were too low. But bad coding/pipeline stopped me in fact, not difficulty ;)))
BTW I planned a lot of fix in your sense.
Do you know what level you reached ? What did stop you ? everyone let me know !!!
Thanks a lot for playing!Cheers!
The game is very fun and destructive :D, needs more work on the movement tho :3 Great work :D
Hey, there was some fun stuff here, but learning was a brutal roll of the dice, most levels they were on you before you even knew what "you" was! I did figure it out and had a good time shooting some slugs up for a bit. Pretty rough around the edges but a cool idea.
Thought the crazy chaos worked well and is a pretty good symbol of what Ludum Dare is. Did die lots but liked the challenge and was fun trying to figure out which walls I needed to destroy to make the shortest path to the portal.
negative impressions:
the controls only display for a very short time
had no real idea what my objective was
positive:
liked the way you made use of the theme: disappear at the bottom to appear at the top, same thing for left-right
Hey thank you guys for feedback !!! Soon, soon, soon, i'll upload the up to date/postjam version, including brand new stuff and fixing many gameplay lacks.
@greg : it's explained in the main menu, you wanted so much to play that you were in a hurry ? :) Controls and objective appears on the same screen as credits ;) CHEERS !
How much I hate Java...
Java just resets it's security options to [annoyingly paranoid crap] whenever I save medium.
Anyways, good luck and keep up the good work!
Kardfogú of Creative Sectors, out.
application blocked by security settings.
@Creative Sectors @GameDevExtreme : Try to download the .exe file if you're having trouble with java ! The URL links to Game Jolt's java Quickplay, so you can play without install, but it don't works if you're on something else than windows. Tha java script still launches a .exe ...
I know there is sometimes security issues with Java GameJolt, sorry about that, or maybe just try to update Java, it worked once with me and since no problem with quickplay.GJ really needs an up to date version, sorry if the game didn't launch :// try .exe!
Just played the windows version and I have to say, it was one of the better ones. Rough Diamond, cool stuff!

Took a while to understand what to do, but when I did it was really fun. I think the sound was quite annoying though and the enimies was a bit overpowered.
Nice, if a little hectic game! There were a few surprises - I managed to made a pile of invisible blocks... And used it to my advantage ,)
Cool game, good job!
Good, solid entry considering how much you have going on. You need to make sacrifices somewhere. You went with tons of content at the lack of testing - totally understandable :)
I am very impressed with the amount of AI happening. Even though the AI was a tad overpowered, it was some stellar work.
Challenging but fun game! I Included it in part 21 of my Ludum Dare 31 compilation video series, if you would like to check it out :) http://youtu.be/onSxxkN9CmE
