Neat idea! The mouse controls are a bit weird and too sensitive. Nice graphics!

Controls need to be fixed! Mouse got stuck whenever trying to cross the middle axis.

Hey - is that your voice? Pretty cool if it is :P

The mouse was a bit hard to control, but I guess if it was easy it wouldn't be a game!

jocamar 2014-12-09 13:45

Was this made with mobile in mind? The mouse controls feel a bit weird. They're too sensitive so I frequently ended up overshooting the bases. Other than that neat idea and good execution.

Hey guys.
Really missed a little more time to improve gameplay with the mouse.
Thanks for the comments and suggestions.

Looks pretty neat for a game concept, but eventually having more variation or missiles types would help. Controls felt a little off as well. Great job though!

germanunkol 2014-12-09 16:01

I agree on the mouse beeing to sensitive... But congrats on an otherwise good and finished game!

Good interpretation of the theme, as said precedently, the mouse control are a bit hard though. It is well polished too. Nice work!

Very cool, I had fun with this one. :)

Excellent game! the mouse dragging felt kind of weird but overall a very good game.

hotboxgames 2014-12-16 01:24

Super sensitive mouse controls, how did you deal with that while testing? :O Cool robot countdown, though unfortunately it doesn't stop until the end of the shoot animation, meaning last minute presses are of no use :P

Good job on the graphics and the general concept. The mouse controls ruin it to some extent.. I'm pretty sure there's a bug involved. Moving the mouse only in y direction affects the horizontal movement of the camera which surely is not intended.
Apart from that minor problem however, you had a simple but good idea for a game and executed it quite well including a nice intro screen, explosions and everything. So well done, and tell Mr Almeida to insist on fixing the controls next time he playtests a game for you. :P

Very cool game! Agree with some others that the dragging felt a little off - I think the problem is that the sensitivity when moving the selected area without scrolling is way lower than the sensitivity of the scrolling.

Other than that, a great concept well executed! I feel like this could work really well, like a classic arcade game, with a gamepad: one stick to move the scanner and another to rotate/zoom.

Interesting idea and well-executed. It took me a while to realize the degree of precision needed. I didn't really see a reason to ever zoom in. The mouse controls were super twitchy.
