this game was fun for only being made in 4 hours its a fun game just to have a quick round every once in awhile and btw i love the spining snowmen

First time I saw the entry, I thought the title was "Snowman ate my whizzer" - which would be a different game entirely.
I'm really impressed what you did in 4 hours, the gameplay is simple but effective, and the icy ground gave a nice touch later on. It could benefit from a bit of a tutorial, or at least a warning "Don't slide on the ice!" at the beginning.
Other than that, nice little game!

All snowmen must die!!!

That surely was nice for being developed in 4 hours, but the game itself still has bug and not so much gameplay :/

Nice game, but rather senseless ^__^ I spent some time rushing snowman, and had a doze of fun. Ice on the floor is a good feature.

Impressed you managed to do some actual art given you only spent 4 hours on it -- when I wrote a 6hour game it was only a circle and gradients, and that was with a whole two extra hours!

I especially loved the little expression on the guy's face. Definitely looked like someone who should have been enjoying their day off when suddenly the rotating snowmen decided to wreak havoc on an unsuspecting society.

The gameplay became surprising intense after hitting the 100 points mark, especially with all the puddles and snowmen which had to be avoided, it all became a little hectic. I managed to reach a highscore of 241. I doubt I could improve upon that much more.

Nice work, especially given the short time span.

neat idea with the ice

Not bad for 4 hours. It's actually much harder and much more fun that it looks at first. I'm not sure the ice is completely non-bugged though. I believe sometimes it acts weird.

Thanks all for the nice comments :)

mortus: Yes, i noticed this when porting to JS and thought that it was a bug in the port but it feels weird in the same way in both versions. I think that it's my random "melting" function that removes ice pixels randomly enough that quite quickly it's just 1-3 pixel wide strips of ice that hardly feels like big ice sheets so you have plenty of control... until later when the ice sheet is more compact and you slip properly and die. :)

I found a few bugs, but it was pretty fun for awhile. You could have done a lot more with sounds, art, upgrades, and enemies. I am interested to find out why you only took 4 hours to make this game, time restriction? Spent time trying to create another game and failed? But for 4 hours you did great.

Pretty good to get anything running in 4 hours! I didn't get why the snowmen automelted when they hit the middle... made it a really easy strategy to just hang out in the middle spamming the fire button in either direction.

not sure why so many people went for the snowman theme seeing as it just implies you started early (even if thats not true). either way, impressive for 4 hours but it could have used more time.
