Very well-made game, especially the mood, audio and the drawings. The dialogue was a bit too long for my taste.
I'm not sure how it fits to the current LD theme.

Amazing art! I really like the atmosphere and the setting of the game.
Wow! Awesome premise. How can you not love it? Wonderful art too, I really got into it at the start.
I'll admit with some shame I lost interest during one of david's monologues during the chess game (I was so hoping to watch a game, too! ^.^)
Wish there was a bit more interaction.
One of the best impressions I've had so far though, nicely done.
Great art and audio! I'm not really into the visual novel aesthetic so I lost interest after about 10 minutes, but you set up a great atmosphere.
i'm not a fan of reading games, but i'm impressed of how polished it seems to be :)
Thanks for comments!
"I'm not sure how it fits to the current LD theme." - in sorta "literal", there's a game and there's a screen.
"(I was so hoping to watch a game, too! ^.^)" - that was planned, but i postponed it too much and didn't have time to finish. Will be in post-jam soon, though.

Great entry. I loved the art work unfortunatly I am one of those players who constantly presses "Spacebar to skip" but a solid entry and great promise for its genre.
Very nice art and sound!
I was deeply entranced the entire time. Fantastic use of sound and art. A moving story... felt very eastern European.
One of the longest game in the jam I guess. It was interesting. Cool to see some Ren'py entries too.
Graphics looks amazing!
Interesting idea! It would be great if there were more characters =) Nice music!
ohhh chess .. i love it ...
way too much reading, but awesome art
Really impressive artwork
Really interesting story. Nice graphics and audio.
Love the graphics! :)
Very unique game. Great art, but a little too overwhelming after a few minutes.
Nice story, and presentation generally feels very polished. Also, story branch based on what character thinks seems quite original.
Too extensive dialogs in the beginning. Beautiful art!
This visual novel has good potential. You should polish the art and it'd be awesome. Also I felt bad I didn't get the girl ending (I guess there are two endings).
In the bad part, I felt introducing the narrator that long started the game made it a bit confusing at the start, which is something you could fix.
Very well-made and polished game. The story was interesting, and the characters were quite deep, although there were numerous grammatical errors. The art was absolutely beautiful, and the soundscapes matched that. The desperate mood of the club was perfect. It would be nice to see an expansion of this, with a little more grammatical checking - this could probably be turned into something I'd be willing to pay for.
Very nice visual novel! The audio is impressive!
Great story and atmosphere, I didnt think that it is possible to create such apocalyptical mood around...chess=) very special feel.
Excellent experience.
Really awesome art! I Included it in part 15 of my Ludum Dare 31 compilation video series, if you would like to check it out :) http://youtu.be/feGcEIoOFjA
Thought provoking glimpse into another world with beautiful artwork and fitting music. It would take some experimenting to determine, what were the repercussions of my choices.
Good to know that we can lose our humanity, but we'll always have chess...
Hey, I always love to see visual novels at ludum dare! The art style was a little unusual, but it added to the dirty, post-apocalyptic world. The world building was very well handled and the characters seemed interesting, but the grammar in almost all of the text could have done with some more revision. The music went with the game quite well, good job there. I felt it could have been longer, with maybe some more explanation about Susie (who wandered off into the sunset, I guess), but I understand you were under time constraints. I never really saw how it fit the theme, but I'm not too bothered by that. Good job overall, keep it up! :)
