@TheSheep
Turns out zip files don't preserve file permissions. You can chmod +x the binary and/or download the new tarball.
main.ogg is one of the neatest songs I've heard in a while! I would put it in my regular rotation!
Ah, another engine programmer! I'm rating you a little higher just for that :P. The graphics are really nice.
Okay this is a really crazy request, but seriously, would you guys make a long form version of main.ogg and release it as a bonus track? I can't believe how many times I've listened to this short little clip today.
@recursive frog
Both music loops are were created by Partners in Rhyme, and are available freely here: http://www.partnersinrhyme.com/pir/free_music_loops.shtml
(main.ogg is track 4: Analog Boys)
The external music gives this short game a longer lease on life but it's quite simple. The visual style is good and consistent. Music choice is fun but not yours so only rating the effects.
Got the "./doomray: No such file or directory" error. Tried "make". Installed libsdl-dev and other dependencies. Still not working. :-(
Thanks for the link pelton!
Nice music and art.
