Being able to subjugate minions is a nice touch, and actually becomes important in stages 8 and 9. Everything prior to that feels a bit pointless though.

Having a beacon point to the nearest energy crystal would be really nice though.

I kinda like the art style. I was cool squashing guys and turning them into minions. The gameplay gets a little stale after awhile. Add in some more varied gameplay and sound and it'll be great.

wasn't entirely sure what was going on most of the time. You can beat it by spamming the stomp and only staying next to the crystals as long as you have to. I'm assuming the villain part comes in since you are killing a bunch of guys (The named tombstones was a nice touch). The Tower locator was helpful in keeping a bearing on where I was. One for the nearest crystals would have been helpful on finding the last few. Also, being able to see the AI states was fun.

Pretty good, stomping about was kinda fun. Liked the little named minions and their various emotional states. I did just seem to be stomping for the sake of stomping as it went on, some variety or extra purpose may have helped.

A unique game but not enough here to keep me playing. Its a great start.
