Unfortunately could not run. Got an installation error on OpenAL. Are you sure that OpenAL can't be distributed as a linked library in your application rather than needing to actually install the library?
Foon → Ludum Dare Explorer → LD25 → The Unseen

fyi: chrome showed me a malicious warning for your zip file.
@dalbinblue: I've updated the package. OpenAL is now included and will probably work on another machine?
@xandy: I believe all games have malicious file warnings. =P
liked the idea but the walking speed was imho way too slow.
@xandy: Thanks for reviewing! Yes, the walking speed was rather slow. The decision was made for code simplicity and was a tradeoff that we made. =3
The last two levels were pretty good examples of the game play - I wish there was more, the theme was also pretty spot on. Though a little less villany than mislead unless you read it as mentally insane which I think it was. I was however disappointed by the lack of music - perhaps more time on graphics and perhaps ever so slightly faster movement, although I didn't feel like that was a problem. Other wise I really liked trying to find the monster then figure out the best way to get him alone - the store level and crate level as I said before were really good for that.
walking is way too slow. couldn't hear sound. cool writing though.
@Verrazano: Thanks for the review!
@OU GDA: Walking is rather slow. =)
There wasn't actually sound. =P
Still had to install the openAL for this to work
it was interesting, but the slow controls kinda took away from it..
Very good intro and mechanics, but the walk-speed prohibited me from playing much more.
I couldn't get it to run:

Um, I have downloaded and installed OpenAL Installer and still can't run the game... Sorry I'm not good in these kind of stuff :P
Still having no luck. The addition of OpenAL libraries in the game folder didn't fix the issue, but I did get on another machine (Windows 7 instead of Windows 8) and was able to install OpenAL. I'm not stuck on a Unhandled Exception: System.EntryPointNotFoundException: unable to find entry point named glBindFrameBuffer in DLL opengl32.dll.
It'd be nicer if it didn't require an XNA install, but what can you do, right?
I thought the soundtrack was very nice.
unfortunately there was a badImageFormatExemption, so I was unable to play:(
Do not have windows, so alas, I could not play, but great job entering something.
Quite an intriguing theme, but the controls (especially the walking speed) were painful. Lack of sound was also an issue; some mild, disturbing ambience would have been brilliant.
