I like the graphics and this type of game. But it is too long to have enought composant to update your army.
It's hard to understand who you are at first ^^

Not sure why, but the jar file won't open / execute for me.

I really like the idea here. It took me a minute to figure out that the playing field on the left was draggable, and another minute to figure out what was going on and what I could do, but once I did it was pretty fun. I wasn't sure how to save up the green stuff, but somehow I managed to buy a triangle guy and nobody seemed to be able to touch him, so I won. Also, the jar crashes when I try to open up the help menu.

This is a great start though, and with a little polish to make things more obvious, this could be a really fun game. I could see this being played on a tablet with two players. Really great start.

By the way, if you're looking for a more Java-centric host, you might check out the free Java hosting I offer at http://StaticVoidGames.com. I'd love to see this game there!

First playthrough: Click instructions, game crashes.

Second playthrough: What is going on? Oh, I guess I'm the guy at the bottom and I can buy extra units, I'll try clicking on a unit on the right, why isn't anything happening? I'll try clicking on the board somewhere, oh a guy turned up in that field. Oh, my opponent has a guy who I can't seem to touch who is killing me.

Third playthrough: Buy the cheapest guy and send him down the same lane repeatedly until I win.

The more expensive units seem insanely priced and unlikely to come into play here unless you played for a really long time from what I've figured out so far.

I don't really understand how this fits the theme.

I liked the smooth scrolling, and it was kind of fun after I figured out what to do! Maybe offer more money so I could do more things? I spent most of my time just watching.
