Interesting concept. It's fun trying to figure out which ones are carriers. However, the waiting game can get a little boring and it's sometimes hard to tell which one it spawned from. Overall, great concept, I just wish there was more done with it.

I try not to read any of the descriptions before I play the game, but I accidentally read your first sentence and it was incredible. That said, I'm pretty sure clicking on the OS/X link gave me an .exe file!

Nice creatures. Hard to spot the bad ones.
How does one spot the hard ones? I just kill everyone thats not green?

The OS/X link is the .love file, since I can't compile it directly for Mac. Love2d.org has the program to run love files and its available for pretty much all the platforms.
It is a puzzle game where you are supposed to figure out which ones are the bad ones. I guess that wasn't clear enough.

Once I caught on to the core mechanic, this got deceptively interesting. Most things that at first seem like design flaws (like the hellbeasts greying out after a while) actually work out in the game's favor (punishing the player for waiting too long). Great job, man!
Nice work on the concept, it's like a guessing game, but much more oriented. It's the type of concept I would like to work in one of my games.
This is a nice concept, but trying to do what is basically a visual DNA test isn't much fun.
I'd love it if it were more obvious who the parents were, but otherwise lots of fun.
