I just got a menu screen... i could change the selected menu item, but couldnt execute it. Nice music though!

memoryleek 2011-12-19 22:11

Press Enter to select in the menu, should work.

wompus 2011-12-19 23:34

I wanted to listen to the music but I had to mute my sound because the extremely annoying death sound :(

Fun concept and story but I didn't like the gameplay :(

memoryleek 2011-12-20 08:42

You can remove or rename the death sound file (resources/sound/aah.wav) to make the sound go away.

helloserve 2011-12-20 10:33

Sorry. Enter doesn't work in the menus.

memoryleek 2011-12-20 10:46

Are you by any chance using a strange keyboard layout or are you pressing the Enter key on the keypad?

The keypad Enter might not work properly, but the regular one should, and have worked for everyone I sent the game to for testing.

That death sound IS annoying. Nice work on the menus, many people skip this part, but I think it makes a game much easier to digest.

Why is your game file so big? I can't imagine what in this game makes it a 27Mb download...

memoryleek 2011-12-21 17:08

The download is big because we added one music track per level, plus the one in the menu. The music takes about 20MB, the rest is mostly .dll files.

The linux version does not work for me. I am on 64 bit, but I tried both versions. Terminal and ldd output here:

In the meantime, I guess I will try it in wine

summaky 2011-12-27 19:30

I don't have Qt4 installed on my GNU/Linux but and I don't have a Windows computer at the moment. I'll try to rate it later.

memoryleek 2011-12-27 20:16

We will shortly make new Linux builds using an older version of glibc, and bundling all the necessary .so-files so that everyone should be able to run it.

It should fix both of your problems olav_st and summaky. Check back in a few days, I'll post a new comment when they're available for download.

hehe even tho the death sound was extremely annoying it kept making me laugh thinking of you recording it heh.. music was great to have been done aswell in the time :)

pierrec 2012-01-03 07:29

Thanks for allowing me to change difficulty...the "Normal" difficulty is impossible, but it is fun in "easy". I love the death sound and the music!

memoryleek 2012-01-03 21:30

We didn't make the music, it is by dtrx (http://dtrx.bandcamp.com), as stated on the Credits page. The music is licensed under Creative Commons BY-NC-SA.

The new Linux package will hopefully be done tomorrow, it will contain all necessary .so-files except Qt4.

We performed a system update on our server just now and something caused breakage and the server is no longer booting. This means that our download links will not work.

We're sorry for this and we're hoping to have the server up and running again early tomorrow.

philhassey 2012-01-06 03:25

Couldn't download :( Hope you get your server going soon!

great music, but awful death sound. easy is still hard, and I don't understand how you can possibly pass the 4th level.
And what ? flying building ? just after green hills ?

but well, nice graphics, nice music.
