I HIGHLY suggest compiling the game now and uploading that as the submission. Many people will be scared away from trying your game if they have to compile it first (or may not know how to or have the tools to do so).

It wouldn't kill you to give a link to compiled file - not everyone has visual studio installed and bother downloading it just to try your game.

Where is the game?

It was a bit buggy and nonsensical, but it was fairly fun and a little creepy. I think you need some consistency with how the controls behave (clicking on something vs clicking on an item, then on something), since that was a tad annoying.

To anyone who hasn't found it, there's a debug binary in 'Source Code\ludumdare\ludumdare\bin\x86\Debug' which *may* work for you (I'm running on a Vista dev machine). At the very least it probably needs the xna and .net frameworks.

Could have been a compiled file provided separately, had to use the debug binary:

Regardless there are solid elements, the theme alone along with its, creepy moods are present along with and a bit of ill humor.

It was brought down by a couple of bugs and control inconsistencies however.

Found the debug .exe buried in there, and it worked, but I wouldn't expect everyone to or to be able to compile it. Got stuck wandering around the house with a towel and powerless keys and no idea what to do, but that's me and point and click adventure games.

The story was somewhat intriguing, and I wouldn't have minded finding out more, but like I said, stuck. Also, the sounds are much too high impact, especially the movement sound. I was annoyed by that one the moment I heard it, and it only got worse.

Found the debug binary file in the zip... I can't get very far in it, but then again I don't know if this is the finished game.

A good framework for a point and click, but unfortunately the actual game aspect of this one isn't so good. Lots of pixel hunting which isn't much fun. Got to a point where I had a hammer then gave up. A great start though for a full adventure game.
