Excellent! Many kittens will die from me trying to best the Asian bots! :D
I'd recommend everyone to focus on the "Asian" mode for the full mechanics and functionality (bullet recoil FTW).
it's pretty nice, but i don't like escape being insta-quit ;)
i personally prefer escape being a return-to-menu type button, and to only have it quit if you press escape in the main menu
also i just got killed straight through the shield, and i don't really like the bullets bouncing off in a totally random direction,
@sirius_black9999: The ESC problem appeared in the last minute when I kinda messed up the Menu Code, so I took out the back to menu feature after wining/losing a game. The getting killed through the shield bug is fixed now, but I did way to many changes to update it! Thanks for playing the game :)
Game looks nice and the idea seems solid, but it doesn't seem to work. I noticed no bullets bouncing in the asian mode, so it's not very winnable... being able to restart after losing without having to reopen the program would be very nice, as would be some indication of how to close it from fullscreen mode. Could use a bit more sound too.
@EatThePath No bullets bouncing? Could you add more details? Didn't they bounce of the player's shield? (Space to activate it), or off the walls?
error starting a new game, cant give a rating unfortunately
Harsh game, but I like the two play modes. Easy mode seemed harder than impossible mode, TBH.
You should really add some sounds to help with the control feedback. Also, maybe zoom out the view camera a bit more? It was a bit hard to make decisions with the small view angle.
@Raptor85 what does the error say? Do you have DirectX 9.0c installed?
@Caranha: Yeah, sound is something I didn't manage to do. The Zoom in, zoom out idea is good though.
