I really liked this game. Although the graphics are kinda crappy and there's no audio, I enjoyed the gameplay based around quick-time event. Reminds me of my past LD entry (http://bit.ly/sqETue). I hope you continue working on this.

Finally, AL #1. I didn't read the bit about the space key to land and I was failing all the time. Finally understood that the key were the combo keys. However, as fun as the game is, I believe the link with the alone theme is too weak. Being #1 has nothing to do, in my opinion, in being alone; Actually, you can only be #1 if there is more people, right? ;-)

I found I didn't have enough time to power up before the jump. :( Cool concept. Different.

Thanks for the comments so far! The theme link is definitely weak (especially after I added all the opponents), but I wasn't taking it too seriously anyway and I'm just glad people are enjoying it somewhat. I'm half-considering working on this further as a Flash game, though it's definitely not a priority project for me. If it does happen though, better in-game instructions and a better paced powerup phase (such as only starting on the first keypress) are on the list of much-needed improvements, along with everything else. :)

There is something awesome in this game, and I don't know what it is. I don't know how I managed to have so much fun...but I had, and played about 10 times (never finished first). It is an excellent Ludum Dare Game!

I love the idea, and I don't mind the subversive use of the theme :). The game is quite fun once you get the hang of it.

It was difficult to understand what to do at first though. Because instruction to 'press left and right' is built into the game, I was expecting it to tell me the other keys I need to know about in order to play, but of course it doesn't. Therefore I failed quite a few times before I came back and read the description fully.

The ideal solution would be to put all necessary instructions in the game, but even no instructions would be better than this since it would be more obvious that players need to read the description carefully.

(Yes, I know, I am lazy).
