I loved the idea. I'd like to see this extended.

Cleft in twain? Love it.

The monsters can go through the solid bits. What are they? Demon-ghosts?

@theosk Yeah, funny thing, when I was designing it the matter of genre wasn't present. I was purely thinking of solving the problem of making an at least somewhat fun game, with limited scope, around the theme. It was only after things started to slot into place that I began to realise that it's sort of like a proto-roguelike.

@Coriander Haha, I didn't have (or at least give myself) time to add collision for the monsters, so I suppose it's an "unexpected feature". The monster sprite could've been more ghosty. Let's call them zombie skeleton ghosts or something.

This reminds me of the caverns section of the old Ducktales PC game. Nice stuff.

Nice job, I like the sound effects and music, they fit well with the game. Those monsters are pretty evil, but it made escaping all the more satisfying.

Love the concept. Should definitely keep working on this! :)

Extremely short and quite simple. Good art and fitting music, if you've added few more levels, it would be very good entry.

I was cleft in twain by a monster! :O
Nice job, difficult but fun game.

Decent little puzzler game. Solved easy and medium levels! Would have been nice beeing able to restart after death with the keyboard, so I don't have to reach for the mouse every time.

The music drove me crazy after 30 secs, hah ;)

I felt the monsters could have as well been visible, do you could plan your moves better. It would still have been a hard game probably :).

Simple, yet fun take on a mashup of some old school gaming traits. The top right corner view reminded me of the old 1st person RPGs, while the main view, those really fustrating puzzle cave games from Ms-DOS =P. Still this was a fun challenge which was easily grasped! Only downside is the music, which can get really repetitive and moody after some minutes of play.
