Oct 7 19:46:10 Starbearer ♥ 1 Decent platformer with a well-designed map that provides a reasonable challenge :). Great art. Found the jump sound effect a little repetitive; maybe could have been spruced up with a few more variants and maybe pitch changes, but that's a really minor point. Well done!
Oct 7 20:04:24 18m 14s Garbage Collector - C# Ref ♥ 0 Took me a while to understand, I got -847$ on my first run, haha. On my second I got 52$, which sounds like a terrible score but I'll take it! Fun game and I like the 'garbage collector' character, somewhat let down by the difficult documentation (would be nicer if the instructions/controls were visible in-game; I ran out of road and had to switch back to this page to get the keybind for R). > I don’t know how I did it, but if you start a run while having you path not touching the door, the screen change but the vacuum-run does not start. I also ran into this bug just now (on the Unity Play link)
Oct 7 20:23:18 18m 54s Blackmail.exe ♥ 3 The game looks really good, especially the CRT aesthetic, but I don't understand the game mechanics and the readme is a bit unfulfilling in this regard. The icons in the readme also don't line up with the ones in-game which is doubly confusing. The sound effects are really on-theme. Overall I'm just thinking that it would have benefited from a bit more hand-holding/tutorial and maybe some tooltips on the controls (like the Juice slider).
Oct 7 20:26:08 2m 50s C.A.P.S ♥ 3 If there's a web version now, it's missing a link to it in the links section (maybe the description altogether, though perhaps I just missed it), any chance you can add it? :)
Oct 7 20:30:05 3m 57s Theme Collector ♥ 1 I didn't play this because I don't have a ZX Spectrum knocking around, sadly :D But that idea alone is hilarious
Oct 7 21:01:09 31m 04s le Collectionneur Britannique atteint de Syphilis ♥ 3 This really betrayed my expectations (in a good way!) and had me cackling with laughter. I wish there was a bit more continuation/purpose to it (but makes sense for the jam of course) but other than that virtually everything was spot on. Really love the art, the little details in the animations, the concepts of the minigames and the sound effects (especially nom nom of the mummies) too. Even the title page and the map views are really cohesive. A cracking game, well done :)
Oct 7 21:18:40 17m 31s Better Hurry Up ♥ 3 Lovely graphics with cohesive atmospheric sound effects. High quality; surprising for a first game! If I can make some suggestions for your next game, please put the instructions or at least controls in-game (so it's easier to relate the controls with what they do). And it looks like WASD is supported for movement, but the keybinds aren't using 'physical' keys, which means on a non-QWERTY keyboard the WASD layout is messed up. (You definitely aren't alone on this, probably a quarter to half of the entries I try have this problem :))
Oct 7 21:38:35 19m 55s C-C-Collector ♥ 2 First of all, a technical point: the game took 2 minutes to load, the browser says it is 208 MB (with CCC.data.br being most of the weight). Maybe you are missing some asset optimisation? Then the initial splash screen for the game, it wasn't obvious how to move on to the next stage. I thought the game was broken at first. Please write the keycode to advance or accept a click :D After that, good game, with some nice puzzles! And the cutscenes were funny too :) The crocodile tooth indicator at the bottom left is really well-illustrated and a nice touch. The box was a little fiddly (had to 'bounce' it off the wall because I got it stuck in a corner, but at least it was possible to get it out). That said, it was especially satisfying to finally line up the box correctly so the fly would get stuck on it for long enough for me to catch him >:)
Oct 7 21:42:29 3m 54s Liquidity Crisis ♥ 0 The game appears to be broken in both the embedded frame and the itch.io page
Oct 7 21:45:20 2m 51s Research Collector ♥ 1 I haven't played the game since it doesn't have a version for my platform, but as a thought: a bit more of a description (and a cover photo) would have been good here. And of course it depends what engine you are using but web builds are always a plus. Good luck :)
Oct 7 21:47:30 2m 10s Wondermiddel ♥ 0 Sorry I haven't played — This isn't a HTML5 (web) game, appears to be a Windows game (.exe, .dlls, Unity). Please fix your link type so people don't download 600 MB just to find out it doesn't work on their platform. Also, a cover photo would have been good :)
Oct 7 21:54:39 7m 09s Runesmith ♥ 1 I really like the underlying idea, but the UI is scary :D. I can easily see how this would take a whole weekend to put together, though — seems to be a really complex and developed mechanic. As the other commenter noted, would be really nice to see this put on a game — as it is, feels like a game mechanic with a simulator for that game mechanic :). I would really like to see the result of that! In the meantime, a walkthrough and/or a couple of examples would probably have been nice, to make this a little more approachable.
Oct 7 22:13:05 18m 26s Give Me A Grin ♥ 1 Hilarious game idea, but by golly was it hard! I feel like you have to get quite lucky with your spawn in order to have a chance (or am I just a sore loser :)), it hurts being old and slow! I appreciated the art and the game font. The music brought it all together. An all-round solid small game. I mirror the 'skippable text' suggestion from @binaryDiv; on the other hand the 'Again' button did skip the dialogue, but it for some reason didn't work on the first load of the game
Oct 9 20:40:45 46h 27m Collect all these stones! ♥ 1 Really enjoyed optimising in this game! I've played it twice so far. Screenshot_20251009_213524.png
