Apr 10 00:04:24 Gemchef ♥ 0 Idea is really cool and The art andd music is great. Only real gripe was that it got a bit frustrating when the blocks would spin when try to place them on top of one another, but once it was in place it's pretty satisfying :]
Apr 10 00:07:21 2m 57s Super Pyonpon ♥ 2 This is insane, it's simply way too good :D Even the itch page looks just as delightful as the game (Team Bugulon sweep)
Apr 10 01:12:56 1h 05m Skellevator ♥ 2 Love the animation, it's really fluid and looks great stylistically. It's also pretty satsifying to line up sword throws and mow down a ton of skeletons in one go :]
Apr 10 01:24:46 11m 50s The Deepest Descent ♥ 3 The grainy kinda art really sells the theming and the intro cutscene was really nice too. I had a bit of trouble with it at first, but after learning to use the dodgeroll better it became easier to get deeper than the 200s
Apr 10 01:38:48 14m 02s Shrimply Fishing ♥ 1 Cute little fishing game, the picture of the shrimp in the top right was a really nice touch :D Loved the style and the music was great to just vibe out to while trying to not lose yet another fish to a bomb lol
Apr 10 02:02:38 23m 50s Depth Delver ♥ 1 I remember seeing a blog post you put on this game, great to see it finished :) I love how lively and springy everything looks even with such a simple colour pallette, and the music fits right in. The game can be a bit frustrating at times but has some nice level design to fit the mechanics. It's sad that you couldn't beat it before the bug fix due to the physics bug but otherwise really great little game!
Apr 10 02:15:46 13m 08s Abimes ♥ 3 Looks absolutely amazing and the different areas having different themes and creatures really helps build a sort of story behind it all. Only real gripe is that it's a bit difficult to dodge the stingray when it's zoomed in so much but other than that it's really good :P
Apr 10 19:11:14 16h 55m Down the Rabbit Hole ♥ 3 Wonderful little game, it honestly got a little uncomfortable to play as it hit a bit close to home but if anything that just goes to show how great it is. The art is undeniably great, the talksprites are expressive and I loved how the enemy sprites represented the people violet was talking to in a more abstract way. Also loved the death screen, caught me of guard lol. The only issue with it is that the fights sometimes felt like they took a bit too long and would've benefitted from being shortened or had checkpoints between fights to alleviate it. Other than that it's a great game jam game :D
Apr 10 19:47:55 36m 41s Coin Grind ♥ 3 Sleek game, with some simple mechanics that play off each other pretty well. Also the level of polish on this bundled with the minimalist style is really appealing. I did think that it was a bit easy to side step the enemies by just grabbing all the coins and then beelining it for the end thanks to the easy availibility of bombs and shotgun ammo. It picked up a bit at the end though and it was really nice to control to boot :)
Apr 12 03:53:01 32h 05m Stolen Heart ♥ 1 Really cute card game! It's style is adorable and it's fun to scale dmg and knock down monster after monster >:P I do feel like it would benefit from some kind of feedback when you do or take dmg though, took me some time to realise when exactly it was happening till I eyed my stats like a hawk lol.
Apr 12 04:13:28 20m 27s d6 pool ♥ 1 Loved the game, it was especially satisfying to line up multiple hits off the die and then landing the cue ball into the hole in one go. I did encounter a weird slant on one of the die faces but a reroll deals with that real quick.
Apr 12 04:49:26 35m 58s Nightmare Descent ♥ 2 This is so cool, the idea to split the abilities of the cards really made it a lot more interesting to think of what to play when. On top of that the card art looks amazing, and I really liked the small polish added with the brain changing size based on the heartrate. I do feel like it would've maybe benefitted from a bit of balancing though (making enemies have more health gradually till the final boss, and having them inflict more heartrate) and having it be easier to see all your cards without having to slot some in just to see the rest of your hand. Otherwise it's awesome, everyone did an amazing job :D
