| Oct 7 02:16:15 | 35m 10s | Beachfront | ♥ 1 | The sounds and graphics are adorable! |
| Oct 7 02:19:29 | 3m 14s | Cheeese Watch | ♥ 1 | I really enjoy how simple the mechanics are, but how complex everything else is! The art/sound is amazing, and all the extra little things (particles/screen shake/etc) really add up to a great game! |
| Oct 7 02:26:45 | 7m 16s | Destroy these tiny creatures, they are nasty and swarming | ♥ 4 | Really creative take on the theme, I like the message that anything can be a "tiny" creature. Only recommendation I may add is some way to lose the game. |
| Oct 8 02:59:24 | 24h 32m | Rhythm of the Tinymon-Catcher | ♥ 1 | I love a good rhythm game, and super impressive you got this done in a weekend! Other people may have suggested already, but my first thought would be to make the white boxes some kind of tiny creature to better fit the theme. I also feel like the initial level should be far easier (like you can't possibly lose) and the levels increase slowly in difficulty as you go, so you can still have a challenging game but hook people into the difficulty more as they go. I found it starting too hard for me to complete unfortunately. |
| Oct 8 03:04:40 | 5m 16s | Mini Menaces | ♥ 4 | Super cute concept, these really are TINY creatures! I like that there is invincibility after hitting an enemy, but I feel that the invincibility is far too long, so you can run through multiple enemies and only lose 1 life. I also really like all the different types of enemies and powerups, but I quickly lost track of what all the different things do, so maybe some initial explanation would be helpful. Great job finishing this in half the time as well! |
| Oct 8 03:12:07 | 7m 27s | Squirrel Mail | ♥ 2 | "Only 10 levels"? Thats so many, give yourself more credit for one weekend! I'm glad to finally find someone else who went with squirrels as their main tiny animal haha. Super enjoyed this puzzle game, and I found myself actually getting stuck and having to think about some of these, which is not common on game jam puzzle games usually. Great use of the tiny animals theme, but just a note it did feel like placing the tiny squirrels was a bit tedious because of how many (30+ every level) and how they they are. I also think resetting should have been introduced first, in case of a soft lock on the level before its introduced. |
| Oct 8 03:17:10 | 5m 03s | Creature Crusher | ♥ 2 | I actually really enjoy the animations, they're super clean for how short of a timeframe its made! My main feedback would just be accessibility, just because games that rely on seeing specific colors and tiny shapes can be difficult to differentiate. I found the shapes looked all too similar, which may have been the point, but I think giving them something more differentiating would have helped. |
| Oct 8 03:22:21 | 5m 11s | Beetle Battle | ♥ 4 | The graphics and animations are amazing and super clean, I just unfortunately couldn't get the controls to work on the itch site. If there is a patch for that I'd love to re-rate the game! |
| Oct 8 03:30:09 | 7m 48s | Thief | ♥ 0 | I love the cute graphics, and there's so many different options and possible endings! (or should I say, ways to die...) Great job on your first LD game! |
| Oct 8 03:40:02 | 9m 53s | Drawer Sheep | ♥ 1 | I love a good sheep game! This feels like a super polished and well-rounded short puzzle game, not something made in a weekend. I think clarity would help greatly with making things feel less trial-and-error and more like a puzzle of sitting there and thinking about what to do. More arrows, really on everything (blocks, sheep, paint, ground, everywhere) would be great, and also help with colorblindness accessibility. I'm also not sure if this was a bug, but every time I wanted my sheep to start moving, I would have to flick the "start" switch many times, and it seemed quite random on when they would start moving. This was quite frustrating particularly with how trial-and-error many of the puzzles were. |
| Oct 8 03:42:11 | 2m 09s | Candyland | ♥ 0 | Unfortunately the game and camera controls don't work on my browser, but the graphics look adorable and I enjoyed watching the shooting from the small portion I could see! If there is a patch then I'd love to re-rate. |
