| Oct 4 18:38:50 | Space Ltd. | ♥ 3 | I have a background in Supply Chain, Warehousing & Logistics... the anxiety in this game is antithesis to the job! I absolutely see the theme and mechanics here though! Feedback: Mechanics - a lot like Tetris, but mouse grab/drag accuracy significantly hurt me. Audio - feels retro to match the art, pleasant Fun - if you like Tetris, this game might be fun. Unfortunately I never cared for Tetris (anxiety) | |
| Oct 4 21:06:43 | 2h 27m | Cosmic Cargo Chaos | ♥ 3 | This is an interesting game, without knowing where the Load/Unload buttons were - or that they were changing colors I was terminated on my 5th ship :grimace: On the second run it was much better, but ultimately I think I'll seek a career with a longer life expectancy... like a dropship pilot in the space marines. |
| Oct 4 21:13:25 | 6m 42s | Metagirls | ♥ 1 | I wasn't sure if I was supposed to be inside the circles or dodging them like a bullet hell. Both strategies resulted in death... I also didn't control when I fired the weapons, so I don't understand the character selection options? |
| Oct 4 21:23:52 | 10m 27s | Dino Island 🦖🌊 | ♥ 1 | Camera was extremely disorienting, give control to the mouse - this resembles Super Mario World. Spatial perspective when jumping onto dodo's was deceptive - especially when they begin moving towards you AFTER you start the jump, but if you jump early to counter that you will land before they get to you. I love the rising water concept, though it didn't have that much of an impact for spatial confinement (limited space theme). Big points for the Doc/Rick character, humor, and custom voicings! |
| Oct 4 21:37:05 | 13m 13s | Delicious Sums | ♥ 0 | Maybe this was just more than I was willing to invest in figuring out the rules, game seems very complex. I wasn't sure how I was being scored, and the instructions page was daunting at first glance. |
| Oct 4 21:55:16 | 18m 11s | Raft or die | ♥ 1 | Great concept, I would love to see a more polished game developed from the concept here. I never figured out how to make a raft. I really wish my character was in the mouth of the shark attack. The health bar concept in the event of a shark attack felt a bit too gamified. Theme not clearly implemented? |
| Oct 4 23:26:24 | 1h 31m | Cathtulhu:Paws Vs. Paws | ♥ 1 | I love the art here, and after several play-throughs I enjoyed the building level systems. Unfortunately I could never figure out how to convert a dog tile, or fight back. The catnip farm option never became available, and I'm not sure the strategy here? Even at level 4 the buildings were taken by the dog wave. Overall great concept and it's on theme - all I can assume is a broken mechanic or something. Keep going, this is a good concept! |
| Oct 4 23:49:32 | 23m 08s | SPACE GARDEN | ♥ 3 | An interesting concept, it feels like it may need some iteration though, maybe some of the plants evolve the others when they die or something? Great work on the framing and characters, dialogue was witty and the sarcastic dispassionate approval by the subordinate is on point. Possible Bug: The final stage required me to fill in the board, but I could have easily filled more spaces before it ended. |
| Oct 5 01:10:14 | 1h 20m | Trilunaris | ♥ 2 | Installed Roblox specifically to play as I've never used the platform before. Is this supposed to be a VR game? Interface and game aren't playable from VR as your camera is centered in the Sun. My Quest2 and Oculus software were plugged in, so the game assumed I was playing from VR. It should probably check if the headset is being worn. |
| Oct 5 01:48:14 | 38m 00s | Debugged | ♥ 2 | This reminds me of the stick-figure fighting with math in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dRj3X7IFCjY If I had any ideas for improvement, it would be to improve the aim during movement - hitting an enemy was pretty challenging. The screen panning around the screen was great, I love the Gauntlet-esque end of level as well. Well done! |
| Oct 5 01:56:44 | 8m 30s | Sci-Fi Stratagem | ♥ 2 | Great use of the theme, I love bullet hell. The lava ring definitely made this even harder. I would play this. |
| Oct 5 16:35:51 | 14h 39m | cyber_serpent | ♥ 2 | An interesting iteration on Snake, it was a little unclear what would happen when something hits your tail. Bullet Hell meets Snake? Graphic direction is amazing <3 |
| Oct 6 17:25:17 | 24h 49m | Starlock Defense | ♥ 2 | I'm a big fan of TD, and this is a cool implementation! I'm not sure it fits the theme very well but I had a good time! The control mapping images appear to be swapped? Perhaps I misunderstood - I just left clicked on everything. |
