| Jan 9 22:41:35 | Hamster Hangry | ♥ 3 | I really enjoyed playing this game, shooting the rats was surprisingly satisfying. I also loved the idea of shooting sunflower seeds. :D I think it could have been a bit longer with larger waves of enemies. | |
| Jan 9 23:24:34 | 42m 59s | Ol' Booty | ♥ 1 | Love the graphics and the muted, but expressive art style, the greenish color reminds me of Return of the Obra Dinn. I feel like your game could be even cooler with some tighter, satisfying movement or some sort of defence mechanic. ✌️ |
| Jan 10 14:07:57 | 14h 43m | Celestial Wheatfields - (Roguelike Farming Game) | ♥ 3 | I really like the art style, the ship looks great and the wheat sprites waving in the wind honestly look amazing. I feel like the actual cutting action could be a little more satisfying. I wish I wouldn't stop movement during the scythe action and sometimes I didn't understand how far exactly I could cut. Sometimes the scythe visual looked like I hit an enemy, but did not deal any damage. Otherwise the game feel is super nice and the upgrades already feel quite impactful! |
| Jan 10 14:50:31 | 42m 34s | Boar'd'Hell | ♥ 1 | This game was awesome! It took me a few tries to get a hang of the controls, but the feeling of dodging a few boars in a row was really satisfying! I loved coordinating the harvester and the truck. It's a nice feeling once it becomes intuitive. :D |
| Jan 10 15:30:29 | 39m 58s | Flavors of Victory | ♥ 7 | I love this game! The art and the music are incredible and I love this twist on rock-paper-scissors. My favorite parts are the customized characters that depend on what you build. The game feels very polished already, especially for a jam game! I could imagine more levels and mechanics, like buying new plants at a market, which you can use in subsequent challenges. Really good job, I had so much fun playing this! P.S: I first had the explanations of what beats what open on another screen, but then I noticed that the order in the UI shows that information too, nice! |
| Jan 10 16:38:53 | 1h 08m | Honey Inc. | ♥ 2 | I loved this game! It's funny and the art looks fantastic. The credits were also cute. :) It took me a while to figure out that the timing on the minigame is actually not important, only the order, otherwise, very satisfying to finish all the honey. |
| Jan 10 16:59:48 | 20m 55s | Bean Farmer Extreme 2 | ♥ 2 | CAW CAW CAW Pretty hardcore, but I enjoyed it a lot. The art is hella cute. :D |
| Jan 24 21:38:06 | 340h 38m | Zarguuf's Big Berry Heist | ♥ 2 | Very cool game and a lovely take on the theme I think! I enjoyed playing with the spells and by the end really felt like all of them mattered - even the teleport. I wish there were more levels, but I can see that you put a lot of effort into the existing levels, including shortcuts for speedrunning. ;) I also found the jittering cursor to be a bit annoying in the beginning, but I quickly got used to it, so it stopped bothering me rather quickly. I also think it would've been nice to have a stronger indicator of when my spells would be ready again. Especially for the bomb the cooldown was quite long and it would've been cool to "just know" when it's ready again in the middle of a fight. Otherwise, really nice entry to the jam! |
| Jan 24 21:52:03 | 13m 57s | Village of Plenty | ♥ 1 | Very cute take on the theme! I enjoyed the card playing aspect. I didn't quite understand all the mechanics from the beginning - especially the animals - so I just kept sacrificing cows. :( On the other hand I think that was what made the game charming, I felt like I had to figure out everything on my own, trying again and again until my villagers died. It was still super fun. :D |
| Jan 26 19:28:48 | 45h 36m | Food Flinger | ♥ 1 | This is a great game! Great take on the theme. It was quite challenging, but a lot of fun. It also took me long time to figure out how the doors worked. The sheer chaos when half the screen fills with flying veggies is awesome. :D |
