| Apr 17 05:55:23 | Kitastrophe | ♥ 0 | This was so cute, what a great concept. I played single-player at first and found it to be pretty repetitive, but when I tried with a friend it was exponentially more fun. We found a good number of secrets but at one point I dashed too far from home and couldn't find my way back, oops! Overall such a great game for a compo, and loved that you were able to make it a fast multiplayer experience! | |
| Apr 17 06:39:35 | 44m 12s | UPDOG: The Ascension of 180 Sadie | ♥ 4 | Really enjoy seeing another game with 2D art in a 3D environment! The controls took some getting used to (I was playing on a touchpad haha) but I enjoyed it quite a bit! The music is sweet and the gameplay ramped up in difficulty in a gradual and smooth way. At one point I tried adding a new balloon to my raft and it ended up spinning out like crazy! |
| Apr 17 07:03:51 | 24m 16s | Box Blocks | ♥ 1 | Saw your game on Damakuno's stream and had to play it myself, it's a nice and simple concept that's easy to figure out but has enough complexity to draw me in to continue playing. I can see this working well on mobile devices. Great work! |
| Apr 17 07:24:40 | 20m 49s | Sakura Shrine | ♥ 1 | Graphics are gorgeous, and I loved the fresh new take on the tower defense genre. I was a little confused about how to tell what flower petal belonged to which shrine, but eventually succeeded! Great work! |
| Apr 17 07:34:55 | 10m 15s | Cars crusher | ♥ 1 | Fun little game, with some nice 3D graphics. I liked getting the upgrades and corralling the massive number of enemy cars. Wish there were a bit more feedback elements, like death animations on the cars and VRX showing when your boost is back. |
| Apr 17 07:52:39 | 17m 44s | We Need To Talk | ♥ 2 | Incredibly original theme and gameplay! I love the visuals, I know it's been mentioned but I definitely got a strong Scott Pilgrim vibe. The colors, sounds, even the little details in the facial expressions all work beautifully well. I want a full length game! |
| Apr 17 08:32:14 | 39m 35s | 1 Man 6 Bullets | ♥ 3 | Such incredible levels of polish, from the intro screen, to the brilliantly simple tutorial, to the screen effects, combo effects, end screen, and score counter... Everything is amazing and juicy and fantastic. Keep making games! |
| Oct 4 07:12:43 | 4078h 40m | Delaying Ludum Dare | ♥ 1 | I was about to try your LD 51 game but the name of this one stood out to me and I HAD to play it. Loved the story playing out in the background, some of the moments are just too real (debating DAR-AY vs DARE, taking forever to come up with a game genre). I was so invested in the story, but alas I ran into a game-breaking bug after the spike section and coundn't see how it ended :( What a fun concept! |
