Apr 7 00:09:57 Xermatt Redux ♥ 2 Insanely impressive to see something like this come from a game jam, full of an intense atmosphere that even Yuki's musing couldn't quite clear the anxiety I felt hoping that I wouldn't have to see what she was so frightened of. The artwork and the music helped sell that emotion. Really fantastic job!!
Apr 7 00:18:06 8m 09s Rest In Pieces ♥ 3 Very interesting idea for a game! Your character art and music are great! I as a bit confused at first what to do so maybe something similar to a tutorial? I thought at first I was trapped into a very small room and it wasn't untill I thought I'd try running at the walls to see if I could find a door did I realise I could leave however that could be because I'm an idiot hee hee. Good job lads!
Apr 7 00:27:49 9m 43s IBYH!? ♥ 3 I looooove the mood of this! I feel as though I would of benefitted from just a tiny bit more inspiration from WarioWare with the fact that the game shows you in big text what you have to do giving you a few seconds to process before you then attempt I think maybe having some of the sprites a little bigger would also help with the readability of the microgames! Your characters were just overflowing with charm and once I actually did understand what was going on the microgames felt great! I also love the choosing a character to protray a "life". I think you have the prototype for something really awesome here! I'd love to see what you do with it!
Apr 7 11:29:53 11h 02m Boxed In ♥ 1 Ahh this is the sort of game I tell myself "just one more go" before spending an hour trying to beat my high score, really sweet and simple, very clear what I had to do, the graphics did their job perfectly; if it was anymore simple then i might not have understood what was going on and if it was any more complicated then I may have gotten distaracted from the aim. Wonderful! Not sure if you're aware or not but once I finished the "Your score" screen didn't have anything on at all (I got 33 btw ;))
Apr 14 10:00:54 166h 31m My happy weedy farm ♥ 1 Really unique way of looking at the theme and even the "farming sim" genre in general as usually they feel a lot more relaxed while here I felt more frantic trying to stop the weeds. Can absolutely see myself playing something like this on the bus on my way to work. Lovely little experience
Apr 14 10:15:51 14m 57s Dawn of the Karen ♥ 1 Nice addictive gameplay loop and the annoucer had me smiling the entire time! Great job!
Apr 14 10:27:42 11m 51s Aito Deliverance ♥ 1 Damn this is my kind of game. The dreary atmosphere and the opressive music sets the tone for what kind of experience this will be, the way you made use of the screen worked so well and the amount of content is insanely impressive. Fantastic work! If I had to nitpick I'd say the UI and overall readability coul use some work, perhaps an outline when you're hovering over something interactable? It would be nice if the text was a little bigger too but these really are just nitpicks. Absolutely brilliant!
Apr 14 10:35:33 7m 51s Jacob Cassidy in: Case Crimson Midnight ♥ 2 Lovely mood and tone going on here! Love little touches such as the revolving cylinder on the gun when you reload and the little tutorial was nicely done. I will admit I did actually laugh when I got the first magic spell as the thought of a hard boiled detective finding black magic and being like "yeah this is fine!" really tickled me. I think some variation in the enemy noises would of helped to sell it a little bit more but considering this was a 72 hour job what you do have is really impressive!
Apr 14 10:43:47 8m 14s A Dank Cave ♥ 0 The ascii art somehow helped sell this better than I think actual sprites would have, felt to me very similar to one of those games that I would need a wiki open on my other monitor to understand what was going on (like Dwarf Fortress?). I'm not sure if you just didn't have music or it wasn't playing for me but I left the audio rating blank just to be fair :)
