| Apr 5 02:59:00 | Feast or Famine | ♥ 2 | Awesome job! I really enjoyed the art and the music in this game. They worked together to create an effective atmosphere. The gameplay was challenging and reminded me of Binding of Isaac. One thing I noticed -- the title screen says "Untitled jam game." Is that intentional? | |
| Apr 5 04:34:16 | 1h 35m | Loop | ♥ 2 | Great job! The visuals are stunning. I really enjoyed all the layers in the background and how each scene had a different theme. The platform drawing mechanic was a lot of fun to play with as well, although I couldn't figure out where I was supposed to take it. Maybe there could be a hint in-game? Congrats on completing an awesome jam entry! |
| Apr 5 04:43:33 | 9m 17s | Hearts Ablaze | ♥ 0 | I loved playing this game! It feels very polished. Little things like screen-shake and the various difficulty modes and power-ups all work together to give the game a lot of depth. The game is just fun. It had me coming back for multiple rounds. Congrats on completing an awesome jam entry! |
| Apr 5 04:54:32 | 10m 59s | Outrun The Sun | ♥ 2 | This game is really charming and a lot of fun to play! I love how over-the-top the rover's tricks are -- and that the AI rovers do them too! :D Congrats on an awesome compo entry! |
| Apr 5 05:36:06 | 41m 34s | Column | ♥ 1 | Great job! I appreciate the thought that went into selecting the various mini-puzzles to represent the different pillars. This was a solid puzzle game with some thought-provoking themes as well. One suggestion, an undo button would be nice so I don't have to restart the whole level when I push a block too far. (I'm reminded of the puzzle game Baba is You, which has a similar undo feature.) Congrats on an awesome jam entry! |
| Apr 6 05:31:17 | 23h 55m | Wormageddon | ♥ 2 | This game is just beautiful. The music really sets the mood, and then the cool 3D-esque rotating column pixel art is truly ingenious. I'm a bit disappointed that I can't make it further into the game, there appears to be a crash or freeze on the WebGL version when the worm kills me which requires me to refresh and go back through the intro splash every time. That one issue aside though, this really is an awesome entry and I would love to play an expanded version of it. Congrats on completing the jam! |
| Apr 6 06:04:47 | 33m 30s | WHEN NANA SAYS IT'S TIME FOR SCHOOL | ♥ 3 | Very interesting concept! I've never played a folder-based game like this before, but as soon as it told me to start renaming things and moving them around everything really clicked. Very cool alternative to the code-based games normally seen on LD. Congrats on completing an awesome entry! |
| Apr 8 04:23:45 | 46h 18m | REWOB | ♥ 1 | I love the music and exciting gameplay! If you keep working on this game, I'd suggest an in-game tutorial to help explain the objectives. Congrats on completing an awesome jam entry! |
| Apr 8 04:40:35 | 16m 50s | Terrasite | ♥ 4 | I'm a Terrasite! 😄 This game was a **ton** of fun to play. There was a slow difficulty ramp that got really tough after awhile. Everything felt very polished, from the art to the music to the gameplay. As one suggestion, some more notice to the player that the bases were getting destroyed would be nice. I didn't realize that was possible until I rotated back around the world to find a bunch of my stuff gone haha. Congrats on completing an awesome entry! |
| Apr 8 04:52:33 | 11m 58s | Before The Bang | ♥ 1 | This game is absolutely fantastic. First off, I **love** the idea of a local co-op jam game. I played solo, and that was super challenging in a very fun way. There were a couple of those "ah-ha" moments that are very rewarding in puzzle games like this when I realized where the passwords came from and how to click the buttons to delay the destruction. All in all, I really admire the innovation on multiple fronts here. The music and art gave were nice complements as well to a very polished game. Awesome job! |
| Apr 8 05:05:47 | 13m 14s | The Great Flood | ♥ 1 | Honestly a perfect little puzzle game, in my opinion! The puzzle mechanic was innovative but also the difficulty curve of your levels was gradual enough to make it feel intuitive. I enjoyed the flood theme, and the combination of the text, music, and art all combined to create a really artistic experience. I'm blown away that you made this all for the **compo**! Congrats on an awesome entry, would love to see if you take it further. |
| Apr 8 05:13:59 | 8m 12s | Last Moment | ♥ 2 | This is a really neat concept for a game! I liked the exploration element, and the art+music were just beautiful. One suggestion if you were to keep building on this game, it'd be nice to see how many 'fun points' each activity gives you. It seemed like the ball bouncing one extended my time a bit, but I couldn't tell if soccer did. Congrats on completing an awesome entry, nice job! |
| Apr 8 05:21:46 | 7m 47s | The VortExperience | ♥ 1 | Super fun game and hilarious voice acting! I would have loved to see other elements start to enter the room over time, such as different types of goo or other obstacles. Might be something to consider if you make a post-jam version of this game. Congrats on completing an awesome entry! |
| Apr 8 05:27:44 | 5m 58s | Never Alone | ♥ 2 | Wow, what an awesome concept that you implemented quite well! I really enjoyed seeing the spirits of other players in the game -- async multiplayer isn't something I'd ever considered, but it was very neat. If you keep working on this game (I hope you do) it might be interesting to explore other ways players might influence each other, such as dropping helpful supplies or activating effects. Congrats on completing an awesome entry! |
| Apr 8 05:37:16 | 9m 32s | Dads don't die | ♥ 2 | Very beautiful atmosphere driven by the art, music, and story. As someone who has lost his father, this entry really resonated with me unlike any other. I admire your effort to tackle serious themes in a game jam, you did a great job. |
| Apr 8 05:44:45 | 7m 29s | Always Dying | ♥ 0 | Fun and challenging arcade-style game! I really appreciated the tutorial, as that's something a lot of LD games leave out. If you do keep working on it, maybe consider tweaking the physics a bit so it's not so hard to control where you jump. I found myself dying very frequently when I tried to catch the green crosses. Congrats on completing an awesome entry! |
| Apr 8 05:50:06 | 5m 21s | One More Song! | ♥ 2 | Really awesome concept and execution, nice work! |
