| Apr 7 02:43:04 | Fortold | ♥ 1 | Decent concept, could definitely use more polish to flesh out the mechanics a tad more. There's a good method of storytelling but, gameplay wise, you don't start to get into the groove of things until the very last level. As obvious as this sounds, having more levels would be great. | |
| Apr 7 02:52:58 | 9m 54s | SHUTTLECOCK: ARMAGEDDON | ♥ 2 | Pretty neat. I liked the retro look (and sound) to it. At first I thought the game would be impossible to win because the opponent seems to always be where it needed to be but then I remembered the theme and it made sense. |
| Apr 7 03:00:26 | 7m 28s | Out of Controls? | ♥ 1 | I had a really hard time to multi-task but the idea is great. I kind of wish my ship could take 1-2 extra hits before disconnecting a button from an action. |
| Apr 7 03:10:25 | 9m 59s | poisoned hero | ♥ 1 | Tutorial essentially showed me the high-concepts of the game but it took me multiple attempts to figure out how to craft a single potion. "Play Again" immediately puts you into a lose state; even going back to the title screen doesn't fix this... so that was annoying. Otherwise it's a neat take on Simon's-Says. |
| Apr 7 03:15:05 | 4m 40s | Climate Crisis | ♥ 2 | Was curious to try the game but Mac client and Web client don't run on my machine. |
| Apr 7 03:19:25 | 4m 20s | 1 Man 6 Bullets | ♥ 4 | Very solid. Took me a single round to fully understand what I needed to do. Mad props to the team. |
| Apr 7 03:25:43 | 6m 18s | BLACKSUN | ♥ 0 | I couldn't get the blue totem blocks to disappear :( |
| Apr 7 03:32:02 | 6m 19s | Mayor Necrohamster | ♥ 2 | A bit unintuitive for me but I managed to enjoy it nonetheless. |
| Apr 7 03:34:49 | 2m 47s | Loop | ♥ 2 | Pretty neat :) I hope it gets further developed. |
| Apr 7 03:42:00 | 7m 11s | Flooded Caves | ♥ 1 | Really fun game. I love the water physics used. |
| Apr 8 04:30:07 | 24h 48m | Popiel Defense | ♥ 1 | Odd camera controls but the game is pretty solid. It's bright and colorful and the game goes straight to the point. I initially panicked when I ran out of gold and realized that there were 2 other roads to cover but gold accumulates relatively quickly so it's nice to know that there's a way to come back from mistakes on your first attempt. |
| Apr 8 04:36:26 | 6m 19s | Precious Sleep | ♥ 3 | The art is nice. I struggled a bit too much to understand how/when I could drop bombs and the collision box felt a tad too large but, otherwise, it was good. |
| Apr 10 17:57:27 | 61h 21m | Malevich in Budapest | ♥ 1 | It's a neat game. Simple visuals but to the point. Chapter 1 is my favourite of the three. The only thing that somewhat throws me off is there's very little perception of speed since the camera is locked to the player object and the game area is larger than the screen. I didn't understand why it, sometimes, felt like I accelerated when I made turns. Chapter 2 is, unfortunately, unplayable for me. I never made it off to another platform and it seems that, after the first attempt, you have very little "gas" to make another jump. There was even a time when the game loaded, the ball spawned and immediately rolled off the first platform before I could try to jump. Chapter 3 is decent. It's the only game that requires you to read the tutorial because, otherwise, you wouldn't know that clicking on the player object would turn you invulnerable (compared to the other two Chapters that are somewhat self-explanatory). I wish you could shoot the enemy bullets just to add a bit more control on your fate because there's a point where there are too many bullets to dodge and you reappear just as another bullet gets to you. You're zoomed out far too much to make clicking on the player object reliable (clicking on something that is smaller than the cursor isn't ideal for me) and I think right-clicking for that action would've been better. Otherwise, good stuff. |
| Apr 10 18:20:02 | 22m 35s | The Subtle Hourglass | ♥ 2 | I like it but the camera shouldn't follow the character, it should LEAD. Otherwise, most of the screen is dedicated to an area that is behind the player and you're so zoomed into the action that vision is impaired. |
