| Apr 7 19:05:58 | Pyre | ♥ 1 | I loved the storytelling, and the graphics and audio perfectly set the mood! I would have preferred a little more complexity to the gameplay, but the cutscenes and changes helped break up the monotony so it never felt too slow. | |
| Apr 7 19:28:48 | 22m 50s | Populus Romanus | ♥ 1 | It was cool to see someone else also made a city-builder for this jam. The amount of polish is impressive, and I liked how you simplified traditional city-building mechanics by only providing a limited amount of choices each turn. Well done! |
| Apr 7 19:37:04 | 8m 16s | Different Strokes | ♥ 1 | It's incredible that you were able to execute this idea in a jam! Despite there not being any traditional gameplay, it was still a lot of fun to play. I enjoyed adding to other people's drawings and seeing some of the humorous ways in which people covered up the inevitable explicit drawings. |
| Apr 7 19:54:10 | 17m 06s | Fly and Dive | ♥ 1 | This was fun to play! I particularly liked the refill mechanic of diving into the water. I think the controls were a little too unintuitive though, but without them it would have been too easy. I also found that the easiest way to beat the levels was to focus on splashing the buildings right way and not worrying about the spreading fire, so maybe increasing the spread of the fire and adding easier controls would balance the difficulty well. |
| Apr 7 20:27:20 | 33m 10s | Decisive Battle | ♥ 2 | I liked the combat system and the ability to choice a violent or non-violent path! I find that I tend to choose the violent option in games simply because it tends to be more fun and challenging, but I really appreciated that the non-violent path was actually more fun and challenging than the violent path. I also liked the combat animations and the way they give a tell that is clear which way you need to dodge. I think it might look a little more intense and realistic if you placed the enemy closer to the player during combat, so that it actually looks like you are dodging and landing attacks. |
| Apr 8 21:24:54 | 24h 57m | Before Impact: Meteor Fantasy | ♥ 3 | This was fun to play, and I loved the music! It took a little while to understand some of the elements, but once I did I really enjoyed the upgrade system and the exploration to look for the altars. |
| Apr 9 04:27:05 | 7h 02m | Nighty Night, Nosferatu | ♥ 1 | Wow, this is an excellent concept and very well polished! The level design was great, and I loved the way the lighting gets progressively more red the more you stay in the sun. It took me 63 deaths, but I was finally able to beat it. |
| Apr 10 16:42:54 | 36h 15m | 22h38 | ♥ 2 | This was really cool! I loved the music and the Outer Wilds vibes. The animation for the world ending was also very well done. Some nitpicks: The controls were hard to get used to because of the isometric camera, I think click-to-move would have been better. It also took me a little time to figure out that time only passes when you move, so you have to start by taking the shortest path to the shrine; maybe this could have been explained a little better. Overall, this was a very fun experience. |
| Apr 10 18:38:31 | 1h 55m | Somnipathy | ♥ 4 | I loved the art and the way things get crazier/scarier as time goes on! I felt as if the tension was kind of broken when you stopped to read dialogue and the creature stopped chasing you, but I understand why you changed that. Maybe a solution would be to have less items that have dialogue, whereas common items such as phones and coffee could do without? Overall, great job! |
