Oct 5 22:49:42 Tumbelements ♥ 2 I'm unable to play the game, all I can see is "The developer has not uploaded a game yet...".
Oct 7 14:56:09 40h 06m Path of Giants ♥ 4 I found a critical bug - when just one free slot remains and a mech is standing on a slot right next to it, the mech can just step on the free slot, like so, and it counts as a win. bugwin.png Overall, I liked this game. It lacks some polish, like music or animations, but it's fun. The puzzles are clever and easy to digest. Other than that, I agree with the comments - keep the outline on the selected mech (also, maybe add switching between mechs by keyboard?) and add more visual variety beteen the cracks, that's about it. Good job :)
Oct 7 19:13:38 4h 17m Crumbling Down ♥ 1 crumble.png There were some similar games in LD 42, I even made one :) The glue is a great addition, it creates many potential puzzles. And oh boy, the puzzles in this game are extremely good! It's amazing that you designed them in just two days. I've seen in the comments you're aware of the diagonal exploit, it's also possible to die on a single tile by pressing up and down simultaneously 😄 One bug I found is that when you press space while dying, the glue animation still plays. I would like the glueing process to halt when the player tries to move, pressing the space again seems unnecessary (unless you add moving the glue by arrows instead of mouse, that would be cool too). Also, there are two glues to spare in the heart level. Good job overall :)
Oct 7 19:50:25 36m 47s Shaky Shapes ♥ 1 That was fun! I like the raw minimalistic style, with the satisfying camera shake and all that polish :) Why don't the objects collide with the sides? Ith would be more consistent that way I think. But that's a minor thing. The game is simple, but well executed.
Oct 7 21:20:57 1h 30m Blast Blocks ♥ 1 Hey, that was super fun, I'm a sucker for this kind of games. The levels were well crafted, with many interesting mechanics, it's nice that you were able to make them all in time. The art is clean, maybe the blocks could be a bit more interesting. The last level was surprisingly weak - there was no need for desintegrator, just the arrow was sufficient. That's pretty much all complaints I have.
Oct 7 21:31:59 11m 02s Tangerine Massacre ♥ 1 This is a really solid entry! I got 580 points. The game is simple, but very well polished, with all the camera movement, white flash on hitting tamgerine, ecamera shake etc. Meteors are a nice addition. The art is super good and cute, I especially love the ragdoll tangerine halves. My main complaint would be that reflecting bullets doesn't seem right - it very often doesn't count when it looks like it should.
Oct 8 18:19:58 20h 47m Cat Connect ♥ 3 conn.png Nice game! I like the art, and the glitching effects with particle zeroes are very cool. The glitching movement was fun too. The gameplay could use some polishing - taking and putting the plug needs to be super precise, at first I thought I was doing something wrong, but I was just a bit off and the plug went to the beginning a few times. Eventually I ended up playing with two hands, one on the E key, a bit awkward, but it worked. Afte I mastered taking and plugging the plug, the game was still very challenging. You could make a hitbox for the plug bigger, but instead I would actually suggest getting rid of the E key altogether - taking and plugging could be done automatically, as the player never needs to drop the plug inbetween the beginning and the goal. The portal not respawning after fail was game-breaking, but I've seen in the comments that you're aware of that. I like the music, it fits the game. And the idea for the game itself is fun, good job :)
Oct 17 17:26:47 215h 06m Animals Island ♥ 2 Very fun game! I always loves the concept of this kind of simulated evolution and you managed to turn it into a game very nicely. Simple, good idea. And the art was fitting too. Some seeds are bound to fail very quickly, but it doesn't really bother me. A second map with a lot more space would be cool! My best score was 376 :)
Oct 17 17:35:55 9m 08s Critical Error ♥ 1 For a fisrt solo jam game made in a few hours it's a good entry :) Obviously it lacks some things, as you listed in the description, but it works, there is something to do and it's complete. And the music slaps. No jumping mechanic can be a good thing if you create levels around it, and you did a decent job for such limited amount of time. At first it wasn't clear to me what the controls are, some instructions would be nice. Overall, it's not great, but it's not that bad either, good job :) Also, you can make a post-jam game with the ideas you've listed in the description realized.
Oct 17 17:54:55 19m 00s Human Resources ♥ 1 A very well put together game :) I had loads of fun playing it. Very unique, original entry, I have nothing to add or complain about. The background music/noises were great too.
Oct 17 18:11:25 16m 30s A Druid's Day ♥ 2 It was a very pleasant experience, playing this game :) Very calming, not too hard. Actually, maybe it was a bit too easy, the player can (and should) just hold the 2 key (maybe together with 1 key), the flowers do their job at keeping a good amount of mana very well. But for a jam game, low difficulty is a good thing, I know something about it. The art and music are pleasant, the whole thing feels chill and relaxing.
Oct 19 23:26:23 53h 14m Instability ♥ 1 Nice simple idea with lots of polish, I can't add anything that hasn't already been said :)
Oct 21 19:57:02 44h 30m Life Unit X330 ♥ 1 Fun game, I like the unstability of the life support unit, also the steering feels good and the game looks neat :)
