Oct 6 00:58:47 Dank Brew of the High Mage ♥ 3 Haha, that was a funny concept and a unique control scheme that fit the theme perfectly. It was definitely challenging (many high mages died at my expense, but for a worthy cause, no doubt!). It's one of those games that you could play while watching tv and try and master. Good job!
Oct 6 01:14:26 15m 39s Last Breath ♥ 3 Woooow, that art was stunning, loved the setting, and the music and sound was great! I'm a sucker for turn-based RPG battles, so naturally I loved playing it haha. I think there were some really cool ideas in here with having to micromanage your health and stability, I always love that. Would have been cool to see another attack ability that maybe a had a risk/reward aspect to it that the player could choose from every now and then and attack animations could have been a little faster. But those are small caveats in what was overall a very good job!
Oct 6 02:08:42 54m 16s Bad Magic! ♥ 1 I was confused at first, but once I read the tutorial it all came together. A fun little Overcooked style game with charm of it's own! Cool art and cool mechanics. I felt like the level should have triggered as complete once you reached the required score rather than the timer running out, but a small gripe. Nice game!
Oct 6 02:24:57 16m 15s U.R.A.N.I.U.M. ♥ 1 I like myself a little micromanaging! A great way to reflect the theme of unstable and induce a panic attack. Was a fun game with just the right level of challenge and length! Good job!
Oct 6 02:44:34 19m 37s The Show Must Go Down ♥ 2 Really cool and unique game! I think all the music, sounds, art, writing, concept, and use of theme came together really nicely! I don't think anything I did backstage promoted narrative stability, and I'm okay with that. Nothing quite like punching curtains, dropping pianos, and creating art by sabotaging art. Really cool entry!
Oct 6 03:07:04 22m 30s Pendulum Postman ♥ 1 This is a postman's nightmare. I'm sure every postman could attest that this is exactly what their job is like. Really awesome game! Super clean graphics, really unique mechanic for balancing that is especially well utilized by the level design, with a beautifully bizarre world of pedestrians that just don't have any respect for the postman's daily struggle. Great game!
Oct 17 19:28:40 280h 21m Wobbly Warbler ♥ 1 This was a unique idea, I like it! The strategy you can utilize with weak, medium, strong attacks and the skill in timing and movement made it simple and easy to pick up, but addictive. Also, the difficulty curve was just right (the birdies can get quite challenging). Great art and music too, awesome job!
Oct 17 19:37:25 8m 45s Four o' Frog: Signal Not found ♥ 0 I'm a massive sucker for playing as a frog so points for that alone. As for the game, I love the art and the music was fun! I love the concept too, I can't help but feel that this was a bit of a commentary on the stability of the LD website itself. Mr. Frog got PTSD from his Frogger days when trying to get a signal in the road. Overall, goo job!
Oct 17 19:57:53 20m 28s Tones of the World ♥ 0 Wow, so I'm a big fan of the bizarre and surreal and this was a unique little abstract gem. I'll admit it was tricky understanding when to stabilize the worlds and how to avoid destroying them, but a little time with it and it started to make sense. Great atmosphere and experience!
Oct 17 20:11:45 13m 52s Critical Massacre ♥ 1 Haha, this was a really funny concept! Cool mechanic with health and gun cooling essentially linked to the same meter making it extra hard attacking and taking hits. The art was silly (a good silly), the music was cool, and the dialogue and use of FMV for the lose screen was hilarious. Good job!
Oct 17 20:28:09 16m 24s No More Stables! ♥ 1 Wow this was freaking hilarious! The puns, the plot, the variety. My god, this was a journey and I enjoyed every second of it! What a great premise and amazing dialogue and a brilliantly different take on the theme! Loved it!
