I liked all the small details like how there was a teleprompter in the background. This game would be really cool if it was extended (more plays and scenarios). It also reminds me of doodle jump a little bit. The game would feel more polished with better artwork and music. You did have some music in the title screen though. I thought the title screen and ending screen looked pretty cool with the glitch sort of effects. |

Especially once I realized how to use the bash/invincibility move. But I thought the beginning was way too hard. It took me half the time just to get past the first two checkpoints, because vertical movement is hard to get used to in this game. Overall, impressive for a 48-hour submission. A played through a few times and felt like the random block movement made it impossible to get past a few parts. The game also felt a little lonely without powerups. A powerup as simple as an extra jump would go a long way. I do love PICO-8 submissions though, so thanks for submitting another one! |
