| Apr 27 02:05:56 | Inferno Dominus | ♥ 5 | This game looks incredible, but sadly I cannot play it because I only have a Mac (doh!). I may have to buy a Windows machine just to start playing all these Windows games though. | |
| Apr 27 02:08:31 | 2m 35s | Double Bubble | ♥ 4 | I really enjoyed this game. Some things surprised me because I played it on Itch before reading this page - but that was absolutely fine. Definitely want to download the code to try it (so it runs better on my machine, but that's more my Mac than your code I suspect). The beginning of this game is one of the best openings I've ever seen, where it drops you in medias res, goes over the credits, and then gogogo. Good stuff! |
| Apr 27 02:13:36 | 5m 05s | Debts and Pandamonium | ♥ 2 | I enjoyed this. The art was fantastic, sfx were solid, and overall I liked the concept. I'd like to see what you can do with more time. Incidentally, what was this programmed in? |
| Apr 27 02:50:19 | 36m 43s | The Elephant in the Room | ♥ 1 | This game was really clever. The music really snagged me, plus the art was so cute. Great work! |
| Apr 27 02:56:41 | 6m 22s | Asterisk | ♥ 6 | The breaking stuff was so smooth, I really enjoyed it. I couldn't quite tell if the mines were doing anything to me, but overall it is an impressive game for such a short period of time. Agree with the above re: voice acting, super good. |
| Apr 27 03:03:14 | 6m 33s | In Search of Sigmund I | ♥ 5 | The music was so good, almost put me to sleep (in a good way!). Very relaxing game, type of game I'd love to see on mobile and play it on a long train trip or a flight. |
| Apr 27 03:40:03 | 36m 49s | Deep Mine | ♥ 2 | Your particle stuff is amazing, really like that touch. I made the mistake of digging directly in front of the shop and never being able to go back to it without falling into the same pit. 😄 Oh well. Good stuff! I found it difficult but not impossible. I was surprised when I fell into what must be a sinkhole and nusted myself, but all in good fun! Good vibes. |
| Apr 27 10:28:58 | 6h 48m | Deep Dive into the Dark Depths | ♥ 2 | Great game! The way you pulled off the light effect was really great, worked very well. Glad to see more Godot games. 😄 Simple game to understand, and very effective type of game for a jam of this size. |
| Apr 27 10:40:36 | 11m 38s | Deep Dungeon Tactics | ♥ 3 | Good choice of music, and similar to others it was super-tough pre-patch. I enjoyed the game though, and the music is so good I may just leave it on in the background while I work today. 😄 Clean controls overall, and amazing that you pulled off a game this complex in such a short time. |
| Apr 27 11:18:05 | 37m 29s | Magic Sword Swallowing | ♥ 1 | I thought it would be grosser. 😄 That said, I loved it! Really clean mechanic, unique and interesting idea, and truly a joy to play. |
| Apr 28 18:34:33 | 31h 16m | Deep Space ONE | ♥ 1 | I did not care for the anagram of the enemies - felt like a homophobic slur. Whether that was meant to be a joke or not, it felt inappropriate. I would remove that, regardless of anything else. I recognize it may not have been intentional, but I suspect a lot of people would get upset here. As for the gameplay, it was decent - basic, but decent. I agree it needs checkpoints but they're hard to pull off in such a time frame - might make sense to cut some dialog functionality in the future, as it's a big time sink, and the music was good. I liked how the ship, when changing attitude, was shown differently whether it was tilted up, down, or not at all. |
