| Apr 30 17:38:16 | 88h 42m | Wink! | ♥ 1 | Hi Devs, I haven't gotten around to trying out your game yet, but I had the issue with running the game as well and I saw the solution you posted about making a batch file ``` cmd /c "SET HOMEPATH=/Users/KP&SET HOMEDRIVE=C:&LD48.exe" ``` This worked and I found that setting `HOMEPATH` to `~` also makes it work for any user I've tried it on. This leads me to think if it would be possible to have it coded into the game so it supports more players automatically. I'll try your game and give feedback as soon as I get a chance to! |

At first I felt that the movement patterns were too easy to get past with the fish/octopus (since they only go in 1 direction), but then I encountered the tortoise, which were a lot more interesting and challenging to get past (and might have single handedly caused the extinction of the species in a single playthrough 🙃) |

I have a slight suggestion regarding this game, and that is to make different layers have a greater variety of materials from other layers. The reason why I am suggesting this is that by the time I got to the corite layer, I couldn't build any more shelters because I have no more dirt, which was no longer available long ago. This lead me to fail that round, but because I now know about this, I am inclined to just stick around in a layer and get a whole bunch of the materials that are only available in that layer, then go straight down and do the same (I think that's kind of metagaming). I think doing some improvements in this regard will allow and encourage a more engaged playstyle |
