| Apr 26 21:42:38 | Debt Collector | ♥ 2 | This is simple but very addicting game! I like the strategy with the subscriptions/loans, and this is overall a very fun experience, congrats! I really love the whole "everything moves" graphics style, it feels quite dynamic. On the tech side, the games runs smoothly on my very old Ipad (with iOS 9 or 10), congrats for the optimization! Out of curiosity, does your HTML5 engine (that I'm eager to try!) rely on a existing layer for rendering (like pixi.js for example)? Or is everything made from scratch? I'm asking because many HTML5 games no longer run on my Ipad, so it's cool to see a 2021 HTML5 games that still support it! :) | |
| Apr 26 22:10:14 | 27m 36s | Deep Sausage Madness | ♥ 1 | I really love the music and the audio, they set a very cool "crazy" mood! :) Overall the game is simple but effective and quite fun to play with other people. If you keep working on it, it would be cool to add some AI players, so we can play it solo, or add more challenger to a multiplayer game. Also, on a technical note, the game doesn't seem to take into account non-qwerty keyboard. I'm on AZERTY here, and the A is mapped to Q. Its not a big issue though, as pressing other keys (like Q) doesn't make you loose :) |
| Apr 26 22:29:37 | 19m 23s | Eye will see you down there | ♥ 1 | Cool game, congrats! It starts of quite easy, but it really becomes stressing has you go down (around level 30 its becomes challenging for me). I love the sound, and the visual are simple but effective. If you continue working on this, maybe you could has different kind of enemies to spice things up? Also, I faced an "unfair" death once: I used 3D glasses to teleport, and wrapped to another 3D glasses tile where an enemy was already here (the enemy is displayed below the glasses, making it even harder to notice). Anyway, cool game, and I hope you keep working on it! |
| Apr 26 22:39:46 | 10m 09s | Super Turtle Drop | ♥ 1 | Woaw, cool game, congrats! I love the graphics, overall polish and "retrogaming" mood! The game is simple to pick up, and quite easy at first, but it come very very hard in no time! Using mouse on Web Build my best score so far is 7700. I love the music too, as well as the "game over" sound that reminds me a lot about Megaman! I hope you keep working on it and release it as a fully fledged PC/Mobile game! |
| May 14 23:32:46 | 432h 53m | A Jelly Upon the Deep | ♥ 1 | A simple but nice game you have made here, congrats! I really love the music and the graphics, it set a relaxing mood! (at least until we start to move faster!). I loved the "fake coin" enemy, it's a very effective trap! The game is quite challenging in it's current state, maybe you should reduce the enemies spawn rate, or increase the player left/right movement speed. Another minor complaint: when we reach the speed of 4.5, we have at the same speed as the coins, so it's very difficult to catch one (you have to wait for a lucky spawn in the same vertical position as yours). Maybe you should give the coins a random Y movement speed to avoid this. All in all, you should keep on working on it, it could become a nice game for mobile :) |
| May 14 23:41:00 | 8m 14s | DeeperMiner | ♥ 2 | Woaw, very beautiful game! The graphics a very good, congrats! Gameplay wise, it's simple but efficient, although with time I found it very tedious to have to wait for the rocks to be "mined". Maybe you should remove or at least reduce the time needed to wait each gold rock. I mean, once a room is cleared of all enemies, I wanted to collect all the items ASAP to go to the next room :). I hope you'll keep working on it by adding audio, as you do have a very promosing and gorgeous base! |
| May 15 00:03:30 | 22m 30s | Wigly Hunt | ♥ 0 | Woaw, cool to see a GBA game! As a fellow homebrew developer (never done the GBA yet, but I did try the SNES in a previous LD) i always love to discover new LD games for old consoles :). As for the game itself the idea is cool and the graphics are great, but the game is way too challenging for me in it's current state! It's very hard to punch those fishes, as they move fast and the punch doesn't have a lot of range. As mentioned above, if you can add the score on GUI during gameplay that would be cool too :) Anyway, congrats on such an achievement in limited time, and I'm really looking forward the more complete version for the GBAJam! :) |
| May 15 00:10:51 | 7m 21s | Cthulhu's Deep Dream | ♥ 1 | Cool platformer game, congrats! The graphics are so cute, and I really love the "3d cylinder" camera effect. The music is cool too and set a great mood. The gameplay is very responsive, and becomes challenging very fast. Congrats on this sold entry! |
| May 15 00:15:26 | 4m 35s | samurai-dash | ♥ 1 | Hi! For some reason, the web version doesn't work here (I'm on Firefox on Windows / 32 bits). I have the error "indirect call to null" after the game finishes loading. I tried both the original and bugfixed version, and it crashes on startup in both cases. |
| May 15 00:23:59 | 8m 33s | Chthonic Brilliance | ♥ 2 | really solid game, very polished, great music, great graphics, and fun to play! I really love the blob animations, and all the tiny details around here. The control scheme is very easy to pick up, and although I played it on a computer I guess it mobile friendly too! I can't believe you made it in 48h only, congrats! |
| May 15 01:04:42 | 40m 43s | Deepest Sword | ♥ 0 | A perfect LD entry! The game is original, very beautiful, great (but challenging) gameplay, excellent audio... I have nothing to complaint about or to suggest to improve it! Congratulations on this outstanding job, that deserves a place in the LD jam podium! |
