I would have liked to see the game embrace the difficulty curve of similar games such as Jump King and Getting Over it. Some of the nodes seemed to be placed with no intention, and simply served as means to tell the story. Making all the nodes required, but forcing a more difficulty game I think would have made the final payoff more gratifying. Also, embracing a more linear/vertical level design similar to Jump King could have played in with the story of him trying to ascend to see his wife again? Idk, just some ideas :) |
