Probably when the normal of the surface and the direction of the player are the most opposite it cancel the speed a lot. The art is good it wil probably better with some animations. It probably helpful to know how far behind is the whale when it get out of screen. Overall, good job! |

When the speed reach certain point is almost imposible to control anything, you can move the rocket around, but that doesn't change the fact that you can't avoid most things (no reaction time) and the ones you do avoid is mostly because they weren't in your way in the first place. At that point, the only thing you can do, is wait to the shield and EMP to charge and use it. The rapid succession of quick short turns was a problem too for me, didn't feel that I was in control of the rocket most of the time, and only was playing to use the EMP and the shield thing. For the Threadpoints, I never understood how to position the rocket to not crash there. Most of the time I didn't touch the controls, and notice that if you stay in the center and because the positions of the obstacles are randomly generated (I assume) you can get pretty far. On the part of the sacrifice, I did not feel at any moment for the humans that were being sacrificed, and only the audio sample of the screams did not transmit it. In general is a good entry, with excellent graphics. _(I tried to be honest here, since I received very good feedback when you played my game on the stream)_ |
