| Apr 22 21:00:38 | Tiny Crusader | ♥ 1 | Awesome! This took too much time when I should finish my own entry instead. And even though I have already playtested it. :-) | |
| Apr 23 09:53:48 | 12h 53m | Dememtory | ♥ 2 | Great mood! Very sad. It made me feel old and lonely. I scored 4/4! :-) It's fun with a console based game too, and it's not just normal stdin/stdout stuff either. The feedback (or lack of it) to keypresses is a bit unexpected sometimes. At first I thought I should press enter after pressing a key, and sometimes it seemed like keypresses were lost if I pressed too quickly during the memory game, but that was probably because I pressed while the text was still appearing. |
| Apr 25 21:08:31 | 59h 14m | Sheet Music Editor Shoot'Em Up | ♥ 1 | Silly idea and good execution (just like a Stephen King novel). One of your best so far. I like the physics of the lines. |
| Apr 25 21:41:03 | 32m 32s | Remote Bot | ♥ 1 | Wow, that was more fun than I expected! And frustrating! I'm not as good typer as I thought. The game could benefit from more levels, starting with easier ones. But I know, I seldom have time to make more than one level for my LD games. (That's why I generated them procedurally this time.) I especially like the hints. I never understood the hint about icons in the corner though. Good job! |
| Apr 29 14:29:38 | 88h 48m | Gender Circles | ♥ 1 | I'm not too fond of the interpretation of the theme. First, that it's too much a stretch to say that two genders are different genres. The idea sounds like a somewhat sexist view of what genders are. Regarding the game, the graphics are pretty nice. You could use some smoothing on the movement, so it feels more organic. I.e. do not change the speed instantaneously. |
| May 5 14:55:14 | 144h 25m | Honest Dan's Trout | ♥ 1 | Wow, that was a funny mix of games! And frustrating that the ball wrecks all my plans for getting rid of rows! :-) |
| May 5 15:06:31 | 11m 17s | Punk at the Opera | ♥ 0 | It's strangely satisfying to punch those sailors. And there's level progression too! I wouldn't enjoy it for very long though, but for a few minutes it's pretty fun, so the amount of levels is just right. And that is good for an LD game. To me it felt a bit random whether I would be hit or not, but that may be just because I'm lousy at games like this. In the end I just started jumping around and hitting every opponent at once. I like the MIDI-sounding punkish music. |
