| May 8 06:58:05 | Gate Breaker | ♥ 0 | I understood what I had to do I couldn't figure out how to do it. I kept picking up "<>" but nothing happened and I just kept following the arrow. I like the base idea a lot and the art style and color palette is good. I like the enemy ship design. Might be worth some time to polish and improve. :) | |
| May 8 07:52:35 | 54m 30s | Space Travel 15 | ♥ 2 | I had a hard time downloading it. Drop box is fairly reliable but I kept getting network error while downloading other game was fine. Re-host? |
| May 9 08:01:47 | 24h 09m | Solar Wind | ♥ 1 | Congratulations on your first game! Seriously, you've accomplished what others only dream of. Keep making games. Seriously. My first LD entry wasn't this good! I really liked the exploration and that each planet had it's own quirk. The reverse controls planet was neat. I didn't get the boomerang planet until last. The audio is excellent for a jam entry and helps set the mood. It makes me happy and encourages me to see someone take an idea, explore it to completion and make something to share. |
| May 9 08:19:35 | 17m 48s | Space Aliens Are Coming | ♥ 1 | I actually laughed out loud when I saw the repopulation of my game. Congrats on finishing the game, it's hard some times but you stuck with it. I felt that I couldn't keep up with the ships sometimes but I don't mind loss being inevitable, as long as the player can make the decisions to figure out what to sacrifice. I wonder if you could expand the game so you couldn't actually see the whole play field like in Defender and just have a map. There's lots of possibilities there. Congrats and crossing the finish line! |
| May 20 08:10:33 | 263h 50m | Pocket World | ♥ 0 | I liked the premise and core design a lot. I ended up getting stuck because I traded all my wood for rocks and couldn't figure out how to get wood back. (Do Trees Grow Back?) The aesthetic of "Game Boy" is done well. I did have to mute the music after a while. Music is very hard to do in a Jam. I really liked the writing! |
| May 20 08:14:14 | 3m 41s | FoodCo | ♥ 1 | "Couldn't start because OpenAL32.dll is missing from your computer" :( |
| May 20 08:30:11 | 15m 57s | Cloud Garden | ♥ 2 | I appreciate that you made something and it feels like you just went with it and let it grow. I think that if you continue you should focus on the core how the player interacts with the world and the controls. |
| May 20 08:35:52 | 5m 41s | Caterpillar Chomp | ♥ 1 | It looks really nice for a compo entry. I've read some comments about the game not being very deep but if that isn't what you intended, then this game is what it is. My primary concern is that I think there's a strange mismatch between the fact that the ants smoothly simulate while the player character moves like an old LCD handheld game. It makes it difficult to control and results in not being sure what my move is going to do exactly. After I became a butterfly, I pressed left and became a caterpillar again and the game seemed stuck. |
| May 20 08:50:10 | 14m 18s | My Name is Bunny | ♥ 1 | I like the subject matter but I don't feel the core mechanic is deep enough to be engaging. The core gameplay loop is move, wait, move, wait. The graphics are great and I really like the dialogue. Bonus points for making something that conveys how you feel. I really liked the simulation of watching the planet go around the sun and the moon going around the planet and having the salary earned be based off the lunar cycle. Good job! |
